Okay, tried now the first trial of the gods and its a fucking joke. Piss easy to finish compared to other enemys like the elephants and doesnt take more than 5 mins.
Why has this crap to be behind a timed based community challange is beyond my understanding. Its not even a challange at all.

I agree, it was nothing special and feels like it's just an item grind basically.
If they would add some story, or something, to it that would make it a bit better but not by much.

I wonder why he keeps getting banned, all he ever does is say "fuck" a lot, which afaik isn't forbidden by the Hump rules, it really makes little sense. His posts are even on topic, always discussing the game the thread is about.
I've come to think he's the kind of anomaly that is intended (and maybe even voluntarily introduced) by the system (i.e. the mods) every certain fixed amount of time, just like The One in The Matrix |
Probably because he becomes spammy (at least perceived as such when he stands out with all the swearing) and not the swearing.

Well, he even doesn't post that much (spam level) when active. |
I dunno, it was just a wild guess. Could be so that he actually is the anomaly that constantly gets perma-banned.

Why do we even have "Ignore user" button if the only solution,as it seems, is to globally ban those who are perceived by some as getting "really annoying" ?

Haha no of course it's not the swearing, we're the Humps, not The Oxford Academy
The reason is really simple (as Tet pointed out):
Now, look at his complete post history with his last account for instance: http://www.nfohump.com/forum/search.php?search_author=Clownsack
We gave him a chance to stay around (again) and be active, and while there's always a relatively high amount of tolerance for anything and he can be amusing at first, he has the specific habit of taking it too far in a tiresome way, every single time. It's always been like this really, Supermax2004 has been around since forever (he's probably one of the oldest members here), he's had several warnings before being temp banned, and several temp bans before being permabanned years ago. He even had his main account's ban uplifted multiple times as well - the last one in 2014 - only to punctually go full-Max after a while, fucking it up again whilst proceeding to create hundreds (literally) of alts on weekly basis.
If he posted normally ("normally" as in not without the signature swearing, that wouldn't be him) and even contribute in some way without the daily dose of silly requests and spam, there wouldn't be any problem at all really, he could stay forever as far as I'm concerned. But...good luck trying to reason with him
edit:
Anyway, this is definitely off-topic material that would be better suited for the Void, let's stick to the game

I'm only waiting for the museum mode now...
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Quote: | DLC 1: The Hidden Ones (January 23) – Included with $39.99 Season Pass / Available separately for $9.99
This story-driven expansion builds upon the growth of the Brotherhood, taking players four years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins as they clash with an occupying Roman force in a new region of the world, the Sinai. This expansion will increase the level cap to 45, allowing players to continue to upgrade and customize their character. Players will have access to four new Legendary weapons, a new outfit, two new mounts and multiple new weapons as well as two new levels for all crafted gear.
Discovery Tour by Assassin’s Creed: Ancient Egypt (February 20) – Available as a free update for all Assassin’s Creed Origins owners / Available for purchase separately for $19.99 on Uplay and Steam for Windows PC
This new educational mode of the game lets everyone, from players to history-enthusiasts and non-gamers, choose between free roaming the beautiful world of Ancient Egypt to learn more about its history and daily life or embarking on guided tours curated by historians and Egyptologists. People can discover and explore a world free of conflict, time pressure or gameplay constraints, where storyline and quests are not active and the world of Ancient Egypt evolves into a combat-free living museum.
DLC 2: The Curse of the Pharaohs (March 6) – Included with $39.99 Season Pass / Available separately for $9.99
This new expansion offers players a completely new storyline to delve into as they travel to Thebes to investigate an ancient curse that is plaguing the region. The Curse of the Pharaohs focuses on Egyptian mythology, pitting players against famous pharaohs and Egyptian beasts as they investigate the cause of the curse that has brought the dead pharaohs back to life. This new piece of content will increase the level cap to 55 and give players access to new outfits and gear, including rare and legendary weapons, all themed around classic Egyptian mythology . |
