Fucking ttooth ache again... Unbearable pain, last night the meds atleast allowed me to sleep a bit but they dont do shit anymore...

And Im more afraid of the dentist than i am of heights or anything else...
They give me stuff 30min before operation but it literally only worked once when i hadnt slept at all last night and fell asleep on the chair lol.
Every other time they only make me feel like im drunk or something, just really confused but still scared as fuck.

I really wish they would just put me under and pull every single teeth out in one go...

Over here that is a possibility, you also get immediate dentures with that procedure.
Just google around a bit.

The needles are literally the worst part of the whole dentist experience...

I can understand kids being afraid of doctors of any kind, but grown men? Damn. Laughing

TBH i'm actually always happy when i can get to my dentist for inspection. Main reason being she is a rather hot MILF - and she is gentle. Very Happy

But i hate going to my "home doctor" (?). Though that's because i always have to wait at least 2h in that fucking waiting room. Embarassed

Gentle around your penis as well?

I'm long gone with the teeth issues ( been running away since 2 years ago, when I decided to sort everything ). No more aches, got all the sorted, heck, I'm even on one year wearing braces, one more to go! Very Happy

I thank the Teeth Gods for sparing me of having to do anything during my entire life but getting my wisdom teeth out. I hate needles with a passion, and having them in my gum is pretty damn uncomfortable Very Happy
Good luck Stige !

what you need needles for when going to the dentist.
like it hurt that much if you get your tooth drilled.

I can be reasonable and accept I have to get operated and still dislike needles at the same time Razz
I hate the thought of that metallic needle piercing my skin in order to inject something/draw my blood out, I just can't help it Razz I fully know that it's nothing and actually doesn't hurt at all, it's just my imagination running wild Laughing

Mine is a middle-aged man with droopy tits. Sad

Edit:
Also, usually when they use the needle they use some sort of anesthetic paste of sorts on the gum first to numb it a bit before poking with the needle. So you don't even feel the needle going in.

Edit2:
What I really dislike about the dentist (which I don't think they do anymore) is when they fill this thing that goes over your teeth with some kind of pink paste that is supposed to take a mold of your teeth. When they did that on me as a kid they filled it so much that it felt like I was suffocating on the damn paste and couldn't breathe, I still kept my cool though and didn't panic. Surprised

Last time I went I especially asked for anasthetic spray before the needle. Otherwise this dr. would have used the needle directly. And indeed the needle going in wasn't much of a problem, the injection of the fluid itself was unpleasant though. And this was the worst part of the procedure. So on the plus side the worst comes first.

But when you are afraid of the tooth doctor you really should go regularly. The more regularly you go the less intrusive the care will be generally. And I don't think that there will ever be a point where just waiting for your tooth to fall out is the less painful option. Laughing

So. Just go. Fuck it. Go. Take the Pain. Make it your friend. Or something Razz

The dentist is the one who will save you from the pain, why are you afraid of him?

because he delivers more pain before he does his magic that, with luck, makes the pain that brought you into his office go away after a few hours/days. also the judgement you recieve, you just know they think badly of you for beeing a dental nomad (not only the doc but also the mostly female staff).

the second you enter the dentists dungeon, you should get 20mg of oxycodone, that way i would defo come in more often

I took 15mg of Midazolam this time, 7.5mg wasn't cutting it if I had slept the previous night.

Completely blacked out for like 5 hours, woke up at home in dark on my sofa thinking Im gonna be late for dentist lol.

I remember sitting in the lobby waiting for the dentist and next thing I know I'm at home
That was a fine experience.

Wife told me I tried to eat when I got home, made a mess of things, was falling asleep while eating and then fell asleep on the sofa. Even daughter was a bit afraid at some point apparently and she is like 16 months.
No idea how I made it home either, we live in the second floor of an apartment building so that's a lot of stairs to go through lol

If you are self medicating for the pain, stick to paracetamol or (stronger) ibuprofen.
The latter is already damaging enough for stomach and liver.

So I was at the dentist's today to drill out an old filling and replace it with a new one (new hi-tech shit y'all). I got two shots and didn't feel the needle once, I only noticed that he actually did it when my nose went numb (it held for like 3+ hours). Now I got a new and improved set of biters, so come at me bro!

What about when they pierce your skin and vein, does that hurt too? Because those needles are almost microscopic, I mean they're tiny as hell (the one my dentist used is even thinner than the one's used at the hospital when I give blood).
I honestly feel more pain ripping off a band-aid because it pulls on my hairs rather than the needles going in.
Ohh well...manly men. Laughing

The last time I had someone push a needle through my gums, the sheer force needed to get through was extremely uncomfortable. No comparison to a needle to an arm at all. At All.

Nothing to arm or ass or anything, those don't sting even a little.
