LOL...

I changed res from 1920x1080 to 1366x768 and graphics setting from high to low...

That netted me 5 fps....





I need a new board, CPU, RAM and GPU. In this case my ooold CPU with it's 4 cores are at a constant 100% while my old GPU peaks at 80%. CPU bound? Yeah, I think I read something about AC:O requiring more CPU-juice than most other games around.

I'm getting 60 fps (vsync) at 1920x1080 in the first city\village using these settings (I think it's all maxed out except for shadows and AA):

fps drops a bit during cutscenes.


CPU usage is really high though (70-80+%). Sometimes (rarely) if it gets too high fps might drop for 1-2 seconds.

I bet without 2 layers of VM DRM crap running simultaneously CPU usage would be significantly less coz, honestly, I see nothing spectacular on the screen. It sure does look good but Witcher 3 looks the same graphics-wise,it has much more vegetation and stuff and it still runs considerably better & doesn't rape your 4 cores/8 threads CPUs

I did the benchmark yesterday out of interest, and even my Ryzen was used for ~70%. Laughing

I also got several micro-framedrops during that time.

Where did you do the testing?
Benchmark is nowhere as taxing as alexandria, memphis , krodilopolis.

Also there will be cases where the videocard will be limiting factor (1080 is not enough for 1080p 60fps)

I have Asus 1080, fps counter is top right all the time, and there are quite a few places/time of the day where it drops to 50. So yeah, 1080 is not enough for 1080p (fully maxed that is)
(not that its not playable even with 45-30 fps)

(and yeah, by the time you get to Alexandria, you will probably get bored anyway so who cares about cpu/gpu limits Very Happy)

I have also have an 1080. I have an fps around 90-100. I play on 1080p and everthing on max. In the benchmark i have and fps around 70-75.

From the looks of it and recents Voski's posts you can't really remove Denuvo as a lot of games fucntions are with in Denuvo, UNLESS you are developer or reversed this thing to hell and back...

Denuvo is still very crackable though.

You can keygen its hardware license(CPY and STEAMPUNKS methods) or patch the shit of its checks(Voski way), or find an exploit...

I don't think these methods are things RLD or even Skid will do as they don't consider it as true "cracks".

The 50-40 fps? 8700k here (and also gpu 99% when FPS drops)

I only install these Assassins Creeds to investigate the tech. I find their renderer very interesting. For that purpose, I don't really care if cracked or not.

Smooth as butter here ( as smooth as 30 fps locked can be ) 4k adaptive AA( all ultra was like 20/25 fps so close to ultra i guess ). Way sharper and better looking than it was on ps4pro. HDR looks stellar.

Im 1080p, 60fps locked, no dynamic res, everything maxed out. 60 fps mostly, but there are spots where 50 can happen. Also when lighting the torch and walking around can even cause 40-50 fps.

Seems weird then, no idea. Im glad im settled on 4k30 instead of 1080p60 tbh so i dont have to deal with the ocasional issues like this :/

Also its 4k30 smooth all ultra except AA ( adaptive ). Thought it was dynamic for all details but turns out its just AA.

My cpu usage does not go over 55-57% anywhere.
