Having had more time to prepare an OUT OF THIS WORLD little big presentation, it will cover:
The birth of the submarines, their "whole" history and usage UP TO WWII!
The "after WWII" will, obviously, be talked about, but with a bit more of a geopol taste to it.

...and that's an excellent idea, because I don't really know dick about it! I do and still will always put my topics up to a vote, and I try to make choices available on a self-imposed, yet simple critera:
1) topics I'm familiar with
2) ones I'm kinda to barely familiar with
3) ones that I don't know a damn thing about
I won't ever tell which is which, so as to keep it fair.
"3)" 's would require me to research from scratch, and really dwelve into a topic I never had an interest in before!
And that's one of the good part! I hope to, sometimes, be able to discover, learn, digest and then share.
I still reserve the right to have a genuine interest in the subjects that are suggested (I wont talk about the walrus' history, Pax, don't send me more PM's, please).
But what you mentionned is a perfect example of it, and I'll gladly add it to the next poll.

You don't "have" to be there. You should have a subjet that you find interesting, and that is worth sticking around for.
I'm not reeling for attention or anything, I just try to do something a bit different.
If it doesn't, as Jim said, Light Your Fires, then so be it, no worries.
I'm ready to care, and if some of you care too, great! Otherwise, it's just wasted energy I'd rather spend elsewhere.
Like I said, it's no big deal for me at all. It's just that, if this goes down the shitter, I'll join the Belgian navy, and shoot myself on a rainy Christmas.
