Had a great time in my Cyclops....until a Reaper went batshit crazy on it. Barely saved it. I think i'm going to stick with the SeaMoth, since it has the speeeeed.

I think most important "thing" in this game is scanner room, you can find everything you need, wrecks, fragments and other stuff really quick, range of scanner is 450 meters with 4 mods for range, amazing how i got to lost river searching for nickel, i searched for hour and a half and found two because they are very hard to spot, then i almost rage quit , then i decided to make scanner room in lost river and turned on scan for nickel and omg, how dumb and blind i was, scanner room found 10-20 nickel ore around me , nickel is everywhere in lost river, really amazing game with so nice atmosphere, and after 30-40 hours of gameplay i find deep waters still very frightening.
And almost forgot to mention "sharks" who like to steal cameras from scanner room.

@StrEagle
afaik you can't kill anyone in the game.
The douchebag who fired the brilliant sound designer for his tweets on his personal blog actually forced his own political views on the game and gamers. Say no to gunzzzz!

coz reasons..well, coz..Sandy Hook!

So you're not enjoying the game and it's gameplay anymore?

Well, you can always look at it this way:
You have bought the game where sound design is very important. By buying it you are essentially saying "thank you for your hard work, mr sound designer. I really appreciate it."

What's funny is that the Aurora appears to be a military ship even, according to the logs you find. I don't necessarily want guns in this game, as it would take away a lot of the tension, but the reasons are dumb.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Yeah... no.
If you're gonna refund this because of what the devs did (as dumb as it was if they outright fired him) then you're not really any better than the "progressives" whining about refunds before the guy was fired...
No need to punish the whole team for the actions of a few, I says!

I built mine 200m from the rescue pod
near the vines, away from the blast pod creatures
it needs to be at least 100-150m below the surface if you want the cyclops to be able to get next to it comfortably
also early tip:
get a compost generator
get an alien containment
get 3x reginald in the containment
wait for them to multiply
start filling 2-3 of them in the generator each time you come back
= infinite energy with 4-6 solar panels on the top
also infinite food - those fish are the most nutrient rich food (44) and compost energy
I got 2 water filtering stations on another level = infinite water/salt too for cured food
I don't feel the need to upgrade to nuclear yet, as I will still need the fish anyway for food
even as I have access to uranium

they don't get near the base, except to steal a camera or 2..
and after I drove them off with the knife a couple of times they don't get back

A Power Transmitter has a range of about 100 meters; a "power line" of transmitters can be built to transfer power over a long distance. The Power Transmitter will not connect to a power source if a direct, unobstructed line cannot be established.
