i tried setting the region on my dt4 drive to 1-8 and it didn't work on any of them. looks like someone lied.

exactly, digital purchase version is sold on direct2drive.com since august, but there's no store version yet... how can u clone something that is not physically sold on dvd/cd in stores?

how? steam games have no protection, this as a starforce proactive online atcivation. it's a bit different.
let's say valve decides to use staforce proactive on steam.... emporio would clone down, no chache to release a single bit from steam

This game isn't protected by some lame online verification thing ( aka Steam) but Starforce ProActive, alot more efficient IMO ,still uncrackable just like Selt said (if you would have listened to him,you would know  )

how it works? pretty easy. buying a starforce proactive game u receive 3 user licenses (or 5 i don't remember) each of which allows u to install and play the game on a certain hardware configuration.
lets say u have a fx55, 1gb of kingstom, any hard drive, dvddrive, mobo, gfx card etc... to activate the product u receive a cdkey that unlocks the game only on your given hardware configuration.
done that u can play as long as u want... if u change something on your box (ex, a new virtual drive) the cdkey no longer works and u need to use another license to be allowed to use the game again.
online activation are not hard to bypass usualy, but add starforce shit encripting the game files and... bingo!

Some UK stores have cd version due on Feb 12th..but there've been due dates before and they keep getting pushed back...here's hoping it is out then.

have to use another licence... and when u run out of licences u have to mail them to receive more for free, but i wait 3-5 days without playing the game

rofl... they should put that on the box to improve sales... maybe i should buy one and then sue for lack of notice. sue them for my money back, plus damages for time wasted, and sue for them to have to put a big-ass sticker... that says "we use starforce and if you do stuff to your computer you may be out of a game for a week"

I dont get this. No need for scientist to see that this release wont work without the keygen or crack and Reloaded releases it uncracked. I doubt its released by Reloaded. Or were they drunk that day?
