I really like that the acting was done in proper English with different real accents Very Happy
Acting itself was nice, humor was spot on.

I, Tonya - 7(6.5)/10

Great performances, except for Winter Soldier. I was literaly told that he is not the smartest person out there but he never acts like this only says. I don't know where is the fault maybe rather he used to be quick-tempered and violent but that wasn't really shown too. Even when he was abusive to her I wasn't 100% sold on that performance like they didn't want to escalate the violence torwards woman (psychological is still ok though). Every time that happened they stopped the act and put some 4th wall breaking.

And I had some issues with the pacing of the movie, it was racing torward the conclusion. They even forgot to mention she won silver in Nationals.

But overall nice watch, the performance gave that 0.5 point torward 7 in my opinion.

No he is incognito. He is a sleeper agent after all.

jumanji 6/10 some good laughs

downsized 4/10 laughed maybe two times ... the vietnamese accent and asian tiger woman was borderline racist n major cringe ... and poorly chosen and the jokes i saw a mile coming ... good idea n concept, very very poorly executed with terrible writing

Srsly?

I couldn't get past first half: it's abysmal.
Empty, dull, 0 original ideas.

The original had just better characters/actors, plot, nemesis, random situations, comedy: but beside those, you're right.

Not great but entertaining enough. Pretty much what the trailer promises. I didn't like two things about the ending though -

 Spoiler:

Downsizing - 6/10

This started out amazing, then after the first half they ran out of ideas. And that Vietnamese woman was annoying as hell. Visually impressive movie.

Jumanji 2 was a really fun movie, but saying it's better than the Robin Williams one is retarded. It's a pretty different movie altogether.

The last Jedi: 6/10
Visually stunning...
But everything that happens is such cliche...
How did he get to write this?
Or even direct it?
Apart from cgi space battles every action piece was dull.
Even that feller who ruined the franchise with three non related movies had better action pieces...
Last jedi played it safe but kept true to the Star Wars lore.
This just threw everything out the window and added things because it would look cool...

Edit: nope. The scene at the end... ruins the whole thing... 4/10.

I don't understand what Disney is thinking by giving Rian Johnson full control for a new trilogy. He's going to kill off any and all interest in the series with his fan fiction bs. Laughing

The Last Jedi - 6.5/10

This was a mish-mash of old scenes using old and new characters. It's like the writer simply picked the story from a list of events that happened in the original trilogy and just recooked the scenes into a movie. Watchable but a disappointment nevertheless.

I believe this is one of the main reasons Ep. VII and VIII weren't that good:

Quote:
Unofficial reports claimed in November 2012 that Lawrence Kasdan—who originally wrote the screenplays for both Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi —and Simon Kinberg would divide writing responsibilities for Star Wars: Episodes VIII and IX, and both would co-produce all three films of the upcoming sequel trilogy, alongside Kathleen Kennedy. However, in February 2013, Disney confirmed that Kasdan and Kinberg were working on standalone films, not main episodes.
