Considering the ps4, It may not actually take as long, considering it looks like all we need is a custom virtual machine, instead of an entire conventional emulator.

That's really not how it works or the og xbox would have been perfectly emulated ages ago.

The big issue with the OG xbox is the undocumented gpu functions preventing most shaders from working right.
PS4/xbone on the other hand use hardware that's even more similar to PC hardware. Early builds of the PS4/Xbone operating systems (some which were used on retail hardware) have been able to be run in virtualbox natively with no issues.
A lot less work went into these consoles this time around in the operating system department, Sony forked from FreeBSD, whereas Microsoft forked from Win8.1RTM.
Maybe it will be easier to debug and reverse engineer a FreeBSD port with C APIs and libraries than a custom Windows with strange DirectX implementation which is overly complicated even in regular form (being closed C++ API).
JSRF... Hopefully the can make the other sound FXs playable and well, missing texts etc... So i can finally play this
Unless SEGA decides to make a frigging Remaster....If they do, ofcourse...

Zelda Links between worlds working almost perfectly via Citra, there are some slowdowns from time to time though, not sure because I am trying to play it on 4k or at least higher then 1080p(I think I tried to lower res didn't change anything).
I tried to overclock my CPU up to 4.0ghz from 3.4ghz to see if helps.. tested a bit and still suffering from Slowdowns.. Downclocked for default after seeing it's heating above 80c, might get better cooler.
Maybe Citra needs better optimization for some games, I am pretty sure some games works perfectly at this point.

We have almost the same CPU,(mine is 4670k) it wil most likely work the same.
Yeah probably granted i only tested the game up to the first dungeon so far so i cant really tell if there are any significant changes in performance later on.

Thanks for the tip, I had grabbed the regular version and was wondering why I was getting slowdowns !
Yeah that's almost never a good idea for citra it always takes ages for them to get stuff from their canary testing branch to the nightly/master builds.

I am not getting 100-200 fps.. something in the settings I need to do? but the speed does improves a lot with your provided build... maybe its just limit to 60 fps(I am using FRAPS), I don't know.

Did you increase/disable the Limit Speed Percent and disable V-Sync in the graphics options ? My CPU's older than yours and I do get 100-200 FPS.
After I disabled V-Sync I am getting same amount of FPS as you, thanks
But to be honest, isn't that too fast?
That the problem I guess with consoles Emulated games, trying to force them to run on higher fps then they are natively is tempting, but it cause problems with cutscenes that the sound is also speed up and you can't understand what they are saying.
Its useful for the speed-up button, so you can blast through whatever you want to. I love emulation for this feature alone.
Its best when you emulate a psp remake of some final fantasy, that has such a feature build in. Quadratic speed-up enables some ridiculous cheese grinding
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
