This update changed the feel of the game a lot. Sound is very different, movement is less janky and there is less getting caught on random corners and slowing down.
Misleading title in a way. Basically, they did what other games have been doing for years: either set a ping limit (some games have the server option of kicking or refusing people with high pings) or just use the ping to determine match making. It used to be Eastern Europeans fucking up online play and now the Chinese are going "Hold my beer, Vladmir ...".

If people keep spamming, then clearly their MM based on ping doesn't work or am I missing something?
Frankly, if you ask me, the Chinese should be firewalls to be contained within their own country. If Netflix can stop VPNs, so can others. The Chinese wreck everything they touch with their very warped view of what is ethical and what isn't. (tip: everything is ethical according to them).
Yeah, my two biggest complaints are sound and knowing where you are getting shot from....
Some sounds are loud AF, some are quiet AF. I end up cranking up my speakers and then keeping half the house awake, or putting on headphones and going deaf when I shoot...
When you get shot in MOST FPS, there will be a red line indicating where the shot came from. PUBG does it a bit differently. Instead of an accurate red line, its a HUGE faint blood splatter that takes up about 1/4th of your screen, and is difficult to understand where it is trying to indicate where the shot came from...
Other than that, and feeling like you are on skates, the game is great!
At first I was like: "Well dummy, why don't you just lean right but jump out instead?". Then I saw the 3!!! Glitches in the next 40 seconds... Yeah, no matter what, you were dead the moment you decided to hop on the tricycle :lol;
