It's the reverse, actually. And hate is not justifiable. Critique... yes. (my question was not about the reasons of the poster's reaction, it was about the extreme level of reactivity - just a small curiosity, mind you  )
A good idea is something 'new', 'intriguing', 'original'.
We are here witnessing an 'official' copy of a concept, that will be transformed into a money grabbing product that will sell or... not, depending on copyright issues and / or how they actually implement their 'different' view.
In my opinion there are only 2 ways to justify this:
1. the project is a parody or fan-declared work
2. the project is a blatantly disgusting copy of a popular concept
I assume it's the 1st. But... it is 'really'? |
