i told you it was the resolution in the shortcut rename it like this
D:\Program\Atari\Crashday-demo\Crashday.exe -skipvideo
then when the windows comes up click on the Maximise button if your screen can support a resolution of 720x486 thats the default res on the demo.....they have worked on this game like forever and they are really amatures and the game sucks!!!!!!

Works for me, but wait for full version, the demo is poor and will only give you an bad first impression IMO

kinda LAMEtastic demo.. i never liked the project.. and guess what? i was right all along.. oh well.. never like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and it never was released.. and the Sin episodes won't be so cool afterall(they will be average >> 7/10 ), let's see if i'm right..

I play crashday on 1600x1200, everything high, and I must say its a verry good engine.. it still plays smooth.
But its on a geforce7800GT... I must say, the menu where your car is shown...
I never noticed a almost photorealistic car in a game, even not in the NFS series.
This is almost photorealistic!!
BUT, I don't like the game.. bummer!!

Thats strange? Standard the game started up here @ 1280x768...
So I changed it in the menu settings to 1600x1200.
When I pressed esc... it changed to 1600

Agree with the menu graphics, but they don't look like that in game - or at least, not that I noticed. |

it isn't early.. it's been 2-3 years before 2004 in production and another 2 years of postponing.. so 5 years for a game with ugly graphics is kinda lame..

my problem is solved
when it starts it runs another task called black with the same icon like Crashday demo, when this happens switch (alt+tab) to that task and close it with alt+f4 everytime this task appears (in my case twice, first time at the very beginning of the game before movies and for the second after the keyboard layout screen just in time when ingame menu appears).
i copy paste from another forum
