Comments:
Been waiting for this game for some while now, the demo was fine and it seems it will be as good as the prequel.
the best thing about this japanese release though, is that it also has an english language option

japanese dubs are always alot better than american, except for the mgs games, here the voices dont fit too well.

this game is really fun, the new critical chain system makes the battles alot faster than they used to be, and then of course the team moves and various characters.
i d say its better than onimusha 3 gameplay-wise, but so far there wasnt as much variation as there. opposed to the setting of old japan/modern france in this one you have only old japan.

yea its a genji ripff, personally i still prefer the one from genji, where you had to press the button for every attacking enemy in slowmo, it was well animated hence looked like a real samurai fight. but stil genji was too short and too easy, got a bit boring afterwards.
overall onimusha 4 is the best of its kind.

Genji was a really lame game imho, it had no challenge at all. Even i who usually suck at these kind of games beat it with ease on Hard difficulty in under 8 hours. I liked this one the most in the series, damn, the last dungeon is _HUGE_, i´ve been running around for like 3 hours in the same dungeon now...

somehow it seems to me, that both DVDs are exactly the same, they are exactly of the same size and both in japanese. Do i need to switch to english langauge in some menu that i cant read cause its japanese ? could you describe me how to find that menu ?
*edit* i found the language option myself: in main menu go to the second option if you count from the bottom up, in that menu you can change the language to englisch use the left / right button on some option.
