There's Anachronox too from 2001 but it's a bit dated by now (Using the Quake 2 idTech engine I believe.) and I think it was intended to have sequels but that's not happening.
Party based RPG too and I forgot if it needed a fan patch or not or if it was pretty bug free even without it.
EDIT: It doesn't have the true "Next-Gen(tm)" cyber punk bloom effect though ala Syndicate EA or other new-generation games.

First person in a System Shock 2 or Arx Fatalis way would be a delight.

I hope it will support both camera views like Fallout.

+1, still think its awesome that the player model & first person perspective lines up correctly. It's a minor by very awesome detail, coupled with the minor body positions it adds so much more to a shooter.

Body awareness and self shadowing: the permanent wet dream of the player that likes to be immersed in a (first person) game...
I wouldn't dare much to expect this from an RPG, though. Chances are we're talking tons of (visual) customization options. Armor, armor parts, layered armor, implants... just... it's easy to see why this can be skipped so easily from the dev. process.
But, we never know with CD Red, hehe...

Cyberpunk 2077 trademarked ahead of E3 2018
Quote: | CD Projekt RED has filed a trademark for its 2012-announced Cyberpunk 2077 in Europe just ahead of next week’s E3 2018, which runs from June 12 to 14 in Los Angeles.
Back in January, the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account tweeted for the first time since 2013.
Gematsu can also confirm that CD Projekt RED has been booking one-hour appointments with press at E3 2018, though the company has not specified what will be shown. However, CD Projekt RED has openly told some outlets that it will be showing a sci-fi RPG. |

I will take that polish penis up my ass and like it!
