As Lara Croft races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, she must become the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available on September 14, 2018 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC/Steam. Preorder now at TombRaider.com.
Rhianna Pratchett left the Tomb Raider series back in January 2017 so no idea who is writing this game.
Jill Murray reportedly is now writing this game. She wrote the script for Assassin's Creed III: Liberation and helped in some way for the script of AC IV: Black Flag.
I like the metroidvania style of those games. 2013 especially.
Actually the new God of War takes some inspiration from those games

I still remember when I used to wait for every new Tomb Raider game like a maniac, nowadays I just emit a feeble emotionless cinematic moaning sound when the release pops up and that's. The typical Play&forget™ modern trip(l)e-A experience
The good, bad and ugly of 45 minutes with Shadow of the Tomb Raider

So, after 45 minutes with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, I'm confident enough to report it's more of the same, and no doubt a fitting end to the big reboot project Crystal Dynamics embarked upon in March 2013. This is good and bad. It's good if you love these games, bad if you don't. That sounds like a bit of a cop-out, but it's important to note: Shadow of the Tomb Raider doesn't look like it'll do much to address common complaints with the series. In fact, it doubles down on some of them, presenting perhaps the grimmest and darkest Tomb Raider game yet. Lara is battered and bruised, blood and mud splattered, crushed under rock, drowning and gasping for air and, when you fail to nail the quick time event, speared gruesomely by a spike trap.

Nothing new. NuLara changes her face with every new game. After all, daddy's little girl HAS to spend that inheritance somewhere right?

Did someone complain about this? Femi-nazis?
Probably the same fuckers that are responsible that Lara has small boobs now.
