Today, one of the film’s stars has now revealed one direct connection to the franchise. Speaking with The Red Booth, actor Jake Busey (“Starship Troopers,” “Contact”) confirmed that in the new film he’s playing the son of U.S. Government Agent Peter Keyes.
Keyes was played by Busey’s real life father Gary Busey in 1990’s “Predator 2”. In that film Keyes was the head of the top-secret Other World Lifeforms Taskforce which set out to capture the creature which was hunting around downtown Los Angeles during a heatwave.
Hmm not enough to go on yet I still have faith this can be an entertaining movie, he's the right writer/director to make this thing work with IM3 being his weakest work. It will be R rated, cut away shots are no course for alarm. I always expected those b-list guys to die (With exception of Thomas Jane that i thought was playing lead) which i guess is not the case.
Here's my prediction, it's a deceptive trailer making you think this is the usual Predator movie in an urban setting.. I think there will be significant twist / something different here, somehow they have predator Armour and a ship > either they take this movie offworld or they are using the tech.. "we need to know if you pose a threat?", "we are assassins, its what we do".. threat to what? kind of unusual line.
Well hoping im right and its not, kid triggers predetors return to an urban setting: BIG TWIST = a female lead or female predator
No... Please no teaming up with Predator. No self respecting Predator would do that in the hunt.
