does the first episode really start with a retarded family playing cards and sitting in their space kitchen table when shit is crashing n burning all over the place during a landing? a kitchen with lose objects in cubboards .... crashlanding
and then next scene they worried about cold temperatures when they walked out unscaved in SPACESUITS, SUITS THAT WORK IN SPACE WHERE ITS MORE THEN JUST A LITTLE FREEZING OMFGGGGG
The father is trying to keep the family calm by playing cards. They worry about the extreme cold to come because their power cells will die out soon and their ship will be stuck in a solid block of ice.
Good show, I really liked the cast. The biggest fault here is the writing, it's as cliche as can be. Full of typical will this immortal-main-story-character die, OMFG so exciting Hollywood BS moments. The two daughters are hawt.
Finished it. I've literally ate all episodes. Great adventure serie that had me very entertained nearly all the time. Here and there stupid behaviours and some boring scenes, but overall: great.
I want more of this. Netflix is doing a great job and seems that they are attracting talented writers.

Last time you men raged about a Sci-fi show Carbon something I drooped it 3 eps in. Is this better or worse?
This is worse in every way, Altered Carbon is great in comparison. The characters and their writing is so infuriatingly cliché, boring and irritating. Everything that happens is predictable as fuck.
Could've been a good sci-fi show but it sucked.

I've not yet watched the whole season ( think I'm on ep 4 ), but I don't get where the "political correctness and gender shit" is coming from ?
It's a rather solid show, it's not a masterpiece by any means and you will be infuriated if you care about the science being correct ( but come on, I've seen that moot point in every single sci-fi product ), but it's decent entertainment so far. The scenery/CGI is pretty on point too for such a production.
Is it bad that I wanted the robot to crush Will's stupid little head? I fucking despised that little runt, also the show got a thumbs down from me.
Ahah, for me it's that Dr. Smith character, we've put off the show for now because we were too infuriated with her and the inability of the other characters to talk to each other at all

The doc was a scheming cuntball as well and ticked me a bit but not as much as the retarded genious who is Will. Actually, most of the characters annoyed me and the only reason I kept watching is because I couldn't be arsed to find another show to watch with the wife. >.<
