I have no idea cyclone, I don't know anything about this game, didn't play destiny 1 and have only just watched a youtube vid on this game whilst waiting for the download (of the correct version ..sigh) to finish.. but I tend to powergame in mmorpgs anyway, I always run out of content after 6 months anyway. So I would be surprised if this game were any different.
Just this minute gave it away to a steam buddy IamAwesome as there weren't any takers on here. :

Couple of days ago I decided to finaly check what this Destiny hype (back in the day) is all about and bought it from humble monthly.
Played about 15 hours soloing the story missions and adventures and I really dig the gameplay, I mean shooting things is fun and that's what fps is all about, right? Haven't had such fun in any recent fps
Currently I'm on Io starting 2nd main mission and I'm afraid there's not much content left, does it?
Tried the Warframe and it's good I guess but I had more fun in D2 to be honest and it feels less grindy. I don't mind some grind though, otherwise it would be silly of me to try any of those
However I feel that the game lacks any challenge, it's too easy so far. Does it get any harder later in the endgame?
I guess there are raids and that's what is left to do after completing story, but apart from that any challenges for solo player pve?
Heard some harsh opinions on cash grab i.e. 1st dlc, is it really that bad? What about the 2nd one? Would it be good idea to skip 1st one and go for the 2nd for additional content? Yup too expensive considering that I got base game for a little more than 10 bucks.

the starting experience was horrendous, i got lost , several times, after the first dogshit lineair map i ended up at some farm with no clue what to do, no intros to any of it, juust dumped in this shit outhouse after having seen some fancy insides of spaceships. no charater building, just some pile of randomly copy pasted together story cutscenes n maps filled with loading times, how the fuck is this emersive ... its the complete opposite
Like after every goddamn 15 seconds there is a bloody loading screen to make time pass roflol, story telling my ass. cut to black and bam a few days later
Anyone who playtested this with new player experience in mind, should retire from gaming, this was the worst starting experience i have had in a game in over a decade almost, shit linear map , followed by loading svcreen, folowed by some short dogshit fragmented storyline, more loading screens, more freaking weird ass story line blips, more loading screens
space scifi gfx n optimization is the only good thing, but everything else is horrendous, including the character physics, like the jumping n dodging, wtf am i a feather or something.

How the fuck do you get lost? No offense but that's on you not the developers. I can see not liking the storyline (it's basic B-Movie paint by the numbers), but this game isn't exactly taxing on the brain when it comes to asking you to actually do something: there are obtrusive icons EVERYWHERE pointing you where to go.
i got lost first time when jumping down ledges when the game shows me perfectly good ledges to jump on but doing so made me fall of the cliff dieing instantly multiple times, also it only shows u where to go when u hold tab or some shit pda thingy, and when u arive at the farm, all alone, there is zero introduction to it, just static npcs standing around looking at u funny, like HAHA this retard has no clue what to do here.
even skyrim had npcs walk up to me to talk to me. The whole campagin things feels like dogshit. doesnt even feel like its a game story, its like stupid missions or some shit
this farm thing is just dumb as fuck and the fact u lot dont expect or want better just means u havent played any decent quality games lately and got used to console call of duty trash
also the fact u dont even see an item drop the first two hours in, is like wtf and these fucking little colored cubes n shit as drops lol gimme a break fucking kiddy shit... seriously consoleherpderp shit to the max. Borderlands is fucking lightyears ahead of this turd. and that game was massivly flawed already
60 usd roflol 100 usd for some deluxe turd , better spent wiping the shitstains of the ass after this mega turd dropped out of it.

level 5 now and the inventory and weapons is just atrocious, why it doesnt bother to auto equip the meaningles boring dull copy paste pixels with the highest number, ill tell u why, cause otherwize u wouldnt have to do anything in this "game" loool

So you need to pay $40 for expansion and $35 for an annual pass. Plus, you need both the starting expansions which costs $20 each.

the only thing that seems somewhat cool is the new mode with 2 separate teams banking points and the possibility for only 1 player to invade the other team
