im on no side. if i get the game for free i will play it, doesn't matter if there is a women in it or not. if not then not. im no bf fanboy, im no sjw and im no bitches hater.
all i wanted was a mostly historical correct bf, without pink hair, vikings and yea bitches on the front. (that is what you will get in multiplayer if you get the choice to play with bitches and vikings)
and my post wasn't even directed at you directly.
all im saying if you can't live with this kind of changes they trying to imply for what ever reason it may be, just forget about the game. why do you even care. it won't get changed and if they want to continue doing it to more games in the future, it will happen, no matter how some people cry about it.

I don't really care that much, it was just Toni calling people immature for wanting a historically correct game. I simply want the same and not willing to compromise on it, at least from my wallet. If i got the game for free like you, i might play it a few times.

There are many elements that make Battlefield V unappealing for players like me, who grew up with the series. We are probably reaching the pinnacle of streamlining, the closest Battlefield gets to being a full arcade, an unrecognizable face in the industry.
Then there's the problem with the customization options, which at the first glimpse are laughable. They are out of place and feel more suitable for games like Fortnite, Overwatch, etc. It's quite clear that the customiztions are EA's way to cash in on Battlefield V while avoiding anymore negative PR.
The historical accuracy is a big deal as well, I don't mind female characters in my games, not at all. However, I dislike things being done for the sake of political agendas. But female soldiers or not, Battlefield V barely looks like a WW2 game, despite being marketed as one. At best, the game looks like it's set in an alternative universe filled with slapstick comedy in the likes of Laurel and Hardy, but with oversaturated visuals and a gameplay that's losing any trace of identity.
If I am to draw a line after this, it's easy to spot that the Battlefield series has lost its mature tone in a desperate attempt to sell some extra copies. As a consumer, I don't care for the business perspective and everyone who's advocating this behavior, you should ask yourself if you would want this for your Witchers, your Nathan Drakes, etc.

I mostly agree. I hope there will be an option to make servers with default soldiers skins and not mad max characters. But should that be an option and not the rule? Let's see what the first gameplay videos bring.

Wouldnt you say that the gameplay changes they promise will make bf5 more of an actual war game than bf1 at least in spirit despite all the visual bullshit? Actual gameplay experience is more important i think.

Looks like the days of a serious shooter from ea are long gone.
Also looks like cod is taking over.
Ea shooters are no longer based on skill as they're mainly focused on accessibility and focusing on a vocal minority crowd rather than long time fans. They're blaming people of sexism and racism when people are complaining that once a bastion of ww games turned to arcade shooters. Its fifa vs pes arguement.
Pes was a realistic sim that turned arcade and no longer makes the sim profits. Fifa went from arcade to sim and it makes money from their microtransactions.
This will bomb and they will blame sexism and racism on its failure and continue going down this path hoping that the vocal minority has some sort of reach that would actually buy a shooter.
