Maybe it was done specifically for players who refuse to drink dry innocent people but still want to upgrade their vampire powers albeit much slower than by drinking blood.

And this way they won't have a hard time dealing with bosses.

Sounds good H4wkeye, thanks for the first impressions. How's the character development, I assume you unlock skills/perks but do you get to choose or do you automatically level up and get new stuff, or how does it work exactly?

You can sleep at the hideout and every time you sleep you can spend EXP on skills. Though you gotta keep in mind that when you do sleep a day passes and people's health will decrease.

So if you do it a lot or too often districts will go down in health and into chaos. Gotta balance it out.

Wut? It doesn't make sense. Is everyone sick or something?

No. But as the time passes some people get sick from cold, migraine etc. And it decreases the overall district health. You are a doc after all. And you can heal those people by giving them medicines. It may sound weird but it's done pretty okay.

Interesting way of doing it if it indeed has gameplay implications and not just having to sleep for the sake of sleeping.

Is it a game over if you let all districts just go to hell, or does it just make it harder to beat because of the enemy spawns etc.?

During a Spanish Flu epidemic I believe, just after the end of the Victorian period - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1918_flu_pandemic

The black death (i.e. plague) was during the 1300s.

Yeah, this makes sense. Still pretty annoying.

What the hell. I've been saving before conversations. Didn't know it had an effect on the overall health. Oh well, atleast I'm not that far ahead in the game and have just reached the hospital. Laughing

Or am I still safe because the game hasn't given any indication/warning regarding this?

1 and 2 are still amazing.
