Its safe to say this will not be MMO, if it would be, it would have been called "Fallout Online", its just some pathetic Bethesda attempt to make new survival game, which all twitch retards love.
Yea it was already announced that it is NOT an MMO (or at least I read something like that somewhere).
Also, MMO's take way longer to develop so...
I honestly have no clue what they are going with. Co-op base building, doesn't sound that great tbh.
Co-op fallout, sure I guess. Cause the waifu likes to play fallout as well.
And those two aren't even the worst they can go with.
Anywho my expectations about co-op/online these days is the shitty kind and I already have enough busy work and grind in WoW to not want crap like that in other games (aka games as service nonsense).
Seems doomed to fail. A PVP shooter with base building using the shitty FO4 building mechanics? You'll be dead before you manage to select the first piece from one of the menus.
Yep, our beloved franchise is going to belong to millenials soon
Can't wait for my Pip-Boy watch that I can catch Nuka Cola caps with !
Pretty sure at least half the people on this forum are millenials or even gen z, as in born 1981 and after
Most of the time when talking to people, and the term comes up, most common mortal beings who didn't read a Strauss-Howe book in their life, assume it's a person born at year 2000+...
Which would be Gen Z after the sacred Strauß-Howe scripts... even though just sticking with Gen Y (which, according to the holy pages, is also correct) would be much easier and stop the confusion. Leave "Millenial" to the people. Thanks.

Sorry there big fellas We of the people should stop vandalizing universitary research
I know you're correct, but yeah m3th0d got it right.
I'm more inclined to think it's just using the FO4 engine and assets, and so dev time wouldn't be very long. So no need to delay it (for consoles, PC will release in October of course...)

Yeah, was thinking this is kinda like fallout shelter. Something to give people now'ish (E3) until whatever they plan on releasing at their normal Autumn slot.

Absolutely, it just all depends on how big of a part the OG Maryland team have with this, or if they're "involved" like they were involved with New Vegas (which is to say, barely at all) and doing a separate project altogether. Personally IMO it's the latter, but it's anyone's guess how far along that other game is at the moment.
I'd say most of the primary team are working on TES6. This is basically the internal "New Vegas", i.e. a gap filler between titles. I would expect TES6 by the end of next year, but I guess it could even be 2020, so it would make sense to have FO76 in the meantime as an alternative revenue stream.
A video from Juicehead, who used to have a good Mod Showcase, now just pulling every straw there is, his last 6 videos are based on "Starfield" and content that consists of 1 min of video, put into a length of 10 minutes....
If it were ready on by July 6th, you would think they would release it on (or just before) July 4th. As that is American Independence day, which fits with the 1776 - 2076 theme, kinda. Granted, July 4th is a BBQ outside with the family type of day, not a stay inside and play video games type of Holiday.
Very curious about what this thing actually is though.

On a related note, the amount of click-bait video titles / thumbnails on YT has reached disgusting levels. Even 'veteran' YTubers are falling 'victim' to this shit trend.
"WILL SHE GET IT?"
"IT'S FINALLY HERE!"
"ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT THIS?"
"THIS IS WHAT THEY DID NOT TELL YOU"

@blackeyedboy Yeah it was retarded before, by now it's quite rare to find someone normal (like Oxhorn for Fallout Lore content and GeneralDave for Settlement Building).

people with 500k subs are earning more money with one sponsored vid than with their ads of a whole months of views, ad pocalyps is still going n only getting worse, making people get more desperate to keep their pipedream alive, thumbs n clickbait are symptons

That was my initial thought before seeing your reaction Yeah he's class (really want to get into FO3 and NV again), he's one of the first I subscribed to for Fallout Settlement builds, he used to have this "fixing" thing going on, repairing damaged rooftops and walls via Place Everywhere + a wood plane, always going for the immersive look. And his Lore videos are just done so well.
Ever since that I enjoyed watching him. GeneralDave just took it to another level after that, really funny when he presents his massive and immersive "Minutemen" builds to his buddy Joel, always with a certain surprise factor in each build
Yeah... Was planning a go at FO3 with oxhorn's mod list but kinda gave up after seeing that gamerpoets guy streaming FO3 on an unreleased (as of yet) Tale of two wastelands 3.0 build.
It looked and played so much better that I'll wait on FO3 until TTW 3.0 is released.

Yea, that guy truly got a talent for story-telling. He's also on my list of YTubers that I check frequently.
