Over the next few weeks the board will be going under some significant changes regarding registration.
Our aim is to improve the message board quality and content. We have listened to comments and suggestions and have noted out key problems of the board e.g. flaming and requesting.
We have therefore decided to make the message board privatised. However we will schedule open days for new registrations each month and have the aide of a vouching system in a bid to attract members that are willing to commit to the community.
If you are already registered member this will not affect your status and we hope it will improve the board atmosphere and content.
In order to privatise the forums we have devised a schedule, which as follows:
Phase 1: Weeks 0-1; Notification of our intentions.
Phase 2: Weeks 1-2; Closing of registrations and the implementation of a vouching system.
Phase 3: Weeks 2-3; Confirmation of registration day.
Phase 4: Week 3 Day 1; First open day.
We would also like to take this opportunity to explain the vouching system. Any user is able to vouch an unlimited amount of times. However the vouching member is responsible for the vouched user – so vouch carefully with thought.
