well, in fact not so hard to make it. i made glowing plants myself. Just add some fluorescence gene to some gene for production of external proteins. Hair, nails or so. A pig is just forbidden everywhere, not in korea apparently They use this technique all the time to investigate the function of certain genes and find genetic diseases. Couple the fluo gene with an unknown gene and then check where the cell becomes fluo.If the fluoness is gone in the sick cell, then you know that this specific gene causes this disease.

If they taste the same, I think its a good idea, for farmers. I dont know if the pigs are left out at nite or not (im no farmer), but glowing pigs would be beneficial if one decides to run away... or a glowing dog that would be sick, a glowing pitpull...wicked!
