Not good for business. I will buy it for my PS4 pro, but if it would also be announced for PC and upcoming consoles then i would wait for that version instead. If it's announced at a later date i will have bought it 2 times, just like many people did for GTA V..
They also might not know yet (but most likely they do).

This gen is not the same as last gen..
Sure consoles in general for these kinds of titles will sell more, but PC version can hold is own against one platform, in this case, i would argue that PC can sell better then Xbox one version alone, not PS4, or both of them combined.

seriously? who the hell cares about xbox one? it's like the worst console ever made and no one in their right mind would buy one since it has like zero interesting exclusives. Compare to a real console like PS4 and come back. thanksbye.

The biggest difference is that the GTA franchise has it's roots on pc. There's a fanbase. A port of the game despite selling less will always pay for itself and make a profit. RDR is console only franchise. There needs to be a policy change in R* for them to take the risk and release it on PC.

yeah for GTA there are expectations that needs to be met. For RDR they can get away with it. But there might be other reasons why RDR wasn't released on PC though, like problems porting that version of the engine to PC, might have been too costly and with a slight risk it wouldn't sell enough to make up for the cost.

The RDR code was a mess, they literally said that, you would've had to make the game from scratch to even get it on PC, I'd have avoided doing that as well. Just sounds non-profitable.
GTA V is in the top sellers on Steam for ages already since it's release, even R* knows that, RDR 2 will come to PC, surely.
