Make a Witcher 4 where Geralt is old as fuck and can't fight but instead solves problems with Gwent duels. Yes, even the monsters will play Gwent against him and commit seppuku when they lose.

HD Reworked Project is great. It makes lore friendly changes to the vanilla game. It's a must have with the increased lod mod (the old one, a new improved one is in the works) and the supreme to extreme graphics options mod.

So I recently re-installed this and haven't started it yet because I want to add couple of mods to improve combat, graphics and generally gameplay.
Watching the above video has me confused on whether I should install this one or the W3EE one...which one you guys think is best? Also any other suggestions are welcome!! Thanks!

This reminds me, I still have to finish a years old playthrough of W2 before moving onto W3. Hopefully I can complete them before Cyberpunk releases
1 and 2 are still amazing.

I finished the first Witcher game several times, the second one twice, the third one I got like a quarter of the way through. I keep stranding in the same place. TW2 had its flaws but was a very streamlined game with little diversions.

If you feel the fatigue try to focus solely on the main story + side quests (absolutely mandatory, since they're all brilliantly written ), you'll still be able to progress nicely in terms of equipment and balance without losing your mind.
I usually do that in most open world games that tend to drag and be repetitive, but The Witcher 3 for me was different, I was captivated from start to finish. Ended up clearing every single spot and clocked 250+ hours including the passive effect of becoming a Gwent addict and a master of the strolling around just for the cathartic sake of it.
(Took me months but I finally started playing Blood and Wine last week, so much )

Played TW1 only once, but did everything. I tried going back to it, in preparation of TW2, but it hadn't aged nicely. But I enjoyed it a lot.
TW2 I completed several times. The game seems (to me) the shortest of all 3, and with the huge fork in the story halfway, you have to play it at least twice to get the most out of it.
For TW3, my first run stranded after Skellige. I tried to be completionist, but Skellige was too fucking huge I returned after 2 years, but couldn't get back into it, so I started again, doing it a bit faster (read: don't try to get all spots on the map ). Skellige is huge, but has only a small part in the main story.
Heart of Stone is my favorite DLC of the 2, although B&W has an entire new (and absolutely beautiful) map. But HoS had such a gripping story, it was really hard to let go.
B&W is very long, and I have yet to complete it. And I started losing a bit interest again, although I think I'm close to the end (the vampires are invading the city)
But I want to see the end, I've heard the ending is a nice completion to the saga.
