Funny that you're all bitching about this yet you do nothing to stop it.
And before you flame me, yes I've seen the video. Yes, it is fucked up. However this is reality. Or rather a very small piece of it directed to evoke certain emotions from 99% of humanity. Call me a psychopath, but I feel no sympathy for these animals. It's pointless, like feeling sympathy for people that have already died. As long as there is a demand for these things, there will be a supply, and as long as a free trade system and regulation-free zones where this can be done exist, and as long as this is the most viable way of getting that particular product, this will be done in precisely this fashion. I think as long as organizations exist that get a bunch of people to feel pity and spill paint on what is essentially the fur of already dead animals (something that actually creates a demand in the form of replacement garments), recruit immature radicals that pointlessly pollute forums with trash, and beat around the bush when it comes to doing something substantial to stand up for their beliefs, nothing will change.
Didn't mean to interrupt your lamentations though, please continue.

Im like that....atleast a person has a better chance of suriving/defending itself. Like when that Christian Children's Fund commericial comes on...its digusting, but not because of the visual content. Rather, some assholes are trying to use god to guilt ppl into funding their shit...u know all the money doesnt go to africa and shit.
So it doesnt phase me. Sure, its very sad and ppl are fighting against poverty as we speak, what more can be done? is me feeling guility even tho I have had nothing to do with that problem going to make it better? fuck that.... |

yea yea, this post had to come, there s always someone pointing out the same shit.
of course i m not gonna do anything about it, i have other things to do, there are organization focused on this, they should handle it if they really wanna be useful.
only cuz i m not gonna do anything against it, does that mean i shouldnt feel sympathy?
i m not gonna help any children in africa to survive, i m not gonna gonna help out refugees from war-torn countries, so what?
i m human and that makes me feel bad for these people/animals, but as everyone else i got my own stuff to attend to and enough problems myself (although not such big ones in comparison) to help others. |
