Mackenzie is the t01
The first prototype.
The girl who built her, rescued her and took her to the crazy lady living down the street.
Crazy lady remembers Arnold telling her about t01 and how it was the precursor to skynet developing killer robots.
The girl finds out the company she works for is skynet.
Arnold shows up and reprograms her.
T02 shows up action ensues.
Arnold dies for reals this time and Mackenzie becomes terminator hero.

People just can't wait.
I don't mind if the protagonist have tities or male pecks as long as the movie resembles something watchable and not laughable as shown here.

Those were worse for sure. But those were also a photoshoot by EW - so an external. The new one was done internally, so in this sense it's even more ridiculous the studio was happy with it. (Not that they didn't have to approve the EW pics of the previous ones, because I'm sure they did have final say. But maybe by the time they saw them it was time for the magazine to be printed, and too late to request changes.)
