20gb storage space? Seriously? Doesn't that strike anyone else as a bit low for such a game?
And what does this mean, exactly?
Additional Notes: 1080p/30fps when graphics settings are set to "High"
Surely this can't be right?

Compressed well the game doesn't have to be that large but could still contain a lot of content and yeah the high settings are aimed at 1080p at 30 FPS but they did increase and enhance some of the graphical options even if the assets such as textures remain unchanged.
(Volumetric fog seems like it's pretty precise on the higher settings but it's also on of the most demanding options in the game as a result when using the high preset for this.)

Xbox version is 16.59 GB, PS4 version is 14.3 GB. So seems to be right.

I know some of the textures are quite compressed, but even so, that's quite impressive I guess... although I imagine there is little voice audio for example, nor video cutscenes to bulk it out.

17Gb doesn't really need a preload I guess, although I can say that because I have second world internet.

The random crash that some reviewers encountered during the preview window was totally unexpected and spooked the team. Fortunately, they found the culprit and it has already been fixed. Phew!
The code for launch is practically finished; that being said, the team wanted to err on the safe side and keep QA team on it into the final hours in case something serious crops up that requires an update. The last thing we want is to force pre-loaders to redownload the game.
Fortunately the download size, in my opinion, is reasonable at 16.7 GB.

Guessing the game has a simpler file structure so maybe one main archive so if they do a preload and then push the patch to the preload data the way this is structured it would download another 15 or so GB for replacing that file.
Of course they could do a shorter notice preload after getting this fixed build ready and just having a 24 hour or so advance download which would still be better than nothing but it seems the Q&A team is worried now that it's being released for everyone so it's a live download only and then chances of a patch being readied quickly after should anything go wrong with the release.

It will definitely get patched the soonest they can regardless of whether those rumors are true or not, because they are going to be losing a ton of sales in China.

Oh and..
Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-tamper
5 different PC within a day machine activation limit.
I assume this means you can't reinstall it on 5 different pc's per day... maybe this will affect game sharing or account selling..

Same thread says Steam version never had this problem in the first place, because the last change in the depot was before the reports about the Chinese fuckup started appearing online, so it's not like they fixed it, there was nothing to fix.
And since I doubt Capcom wanted to experiment with stricter DRM on the Chinese market of all places (in China people are more likely to have older PCs compared to the western world), the whole incident seems like an accident instead of an "experiment". Someone accidentally turned on an extra compiler flag, maybe.

Shame for the denuvo, with console pricing like that I'd need an ISOdemo to feel comfortable with parting with that kind of money.
2 hours steam refund thing, nope not enough. FF-XV I also needed quite a bit more than two hours before pulling the trigger on buying it.
