Yes, that's insane. It's 30 bucks less than our 500/50 cable we have now. And it comes with tv and land line with free calls to land and mobiles. Oh and also a Apple tv box.

Just to give you an idea of the (positive) insanity of your speed/price combo, I'm paying 25€ for a 7Mbit that effectively has never (ever) gone more than 4 Crying or Very sad

I recently contacted the corporation responsible for the actual infrastructures and was reassured that there's a "solid plan" to bring the 20Mbit to my area during the next few years. It would be an improvement for sure, I'd jump from early 2000s to mid 2000s, if all goes well by the time I'm 70 I too will enjoy the glorious fiber internet! Laughing

I can't even imagine 10gbit up and down... I remember when I raced on Gbit sites and was like "omg this is too fast"... Tho, to be honest, we are keeping our 500/50 line for now. We're looking for a bigger apartment and I don't want to make a new contract or anything ahead of time, "hoping" my next place will have a fibre connection lol. That'd be awkward And tbh, 500/50 is plenty for personal use. But of course, going 10gbit for less money... we would be insane not to take that offer lol.

I can't properly imagine gbit net with current use too. So far they rolled out their gigabits and 10gigabits around here... but in all honesty I find my 100/100 plenty. If the faster offers came down to the 30'ish Euro's (only the first 6 months are 30€) I'd go for them but paying 20€ more for a 1000/1000, nope. Rather spend that on other things.

So, finally pulled the trigger and now we have 10gb/10gb for around 30€ Ofc my PC only has a gbit card, but that isn't much of an issue lol ^^ Not like my Hard Drives could write that fast, either ^^

due to moving, i went to digital stone age again. before, i had sexy 10mb/s down and could download every game during an extended toilet-session. now, the download of GTA5 took me around 3 days, IF the web is working (thats a big if,i get booted at least 5 times a day) i get 1.2mb/s but have to share the line with 3 other people.
