2022/2023? Try 2028...with Starfield and TES VI being their next targets. The whole point of making this an online game was to keep fans busy (at least try to) for a decade or so while they can work on other games.
Fully expect massive expansion(s) by 2020 and periodic content packs to keep it going.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
The part that is worrying: they showed no new gameplay with dialog or chat options. Furthermore they said that human players act as your dialog, so now you get a angry 14 year old calling you all sorts of names via chat.
The main fear is that is it an empty world besides combat.
At least it didn't cost them much to build it - all assets look right out of FO4 from the limited stuff we've seen. This is just a hatchet job, built to fit the current trend in gaming. Hopefully this is just a sideline while they develop a real game.

There is a sense of powerlessness when embarrassing travesties like this one are conceived, even ranting about it is pointless. I can only sit inside my shelter, completely ignoring the radioactive wave of derp produced by this rotten supermutant beast and hoping it goes away without doing too much damage.
Fallout is nothing more than a low INT grunt wearing a survival shooter camouflage these days, but despite everything the single-player formula can still provide many hours of entertainment and signature solitary exploration, with mods always bringing it to the next level.

The game sounds alot like rust in a fallout setting but the difference is that players only drop scrap, cant be griefed engaged on sight and ppl even can kinda hide from you by blocking.
so basically this game is rust without pvp(almost)
What engine are they using for this? PLEASE tell me they've scrapped that whole Gamebryo decade old Frankenstein engine that ties physics to framerate and craps out at anything above 60.

While Nuka World was crap, it's just sad that after Far Harbour THIS is what they have to show
Half sure it will bomb, IMO the competition for this is just too strong and experienced and their Fallout brand doesn't carry as much weight as they think it does, especially if it's not for a single player game.

This IS just a mod. I'm willing to bet that if someone more skilled than me took the files apart, dropped in some of the original FO4 bsa files and fiddled with the main exe, they'd get it to run the old game to some degree.
It's simply a blatant cash in on battleground monies - lets be honest, little Jonny who thought FO4 was just awesome is going to fill his little pants when he plays this against his mates, who will, for a while anyway, abandon Fortnite etc because well, it's Fallout innit. And that is precisely the target audience.
