Played doom lots of time during my computeryears, couple of years ago was latest time perhaps.
Doom might be seen as the first couse it was the first full 3d game, wolf3d wasnt fully 3d.

I agree with stooz. It was *mildly* entertaining, not worth a second go round...

But yes, there were a few FPS before doom, and wolf/it's predecessor aren't the only ones.
