Warband had a closed beta.
In general, as a warband player for a really long time i dont like what they are showing. It is actually quite amazing that they managed to change so little in that large of a timespan.

Yeah it's almost off-putting how a lot of things are EXACTLY the same, right down to the generic dialogue choices. For instance the (non-tournament) arena fights are exactly the same, with new combatants appearing out of thin air. Would it have killed them to improve that a bit, freshen things up a little?
That being said, as long as they provide a solid foundation for modding without any foolish restrictions, it'll still be worth the wait; Warband's modding community was amazing and Bannerlord's could become even greater. And the other aspects such as what little we've seen of siege improvements, town interactions etc. are still potentially great additions to the mix.

i dont think modders have the time anymore like they had 10 years ago, they move on , have kids ya know ... if they banking on modders, they are doomed
modding is pretty dead these days

I really wish they would make a more fantasy themed game like this.
I love Mount And Blade to bits. But I can't help but think of how cool (to me) it would be to have monsters and sorcery in a game like this (plus magical loot with Diablo type affixes or some such).
looking forward to this one greatly.
1 stripe purple belt in JiuJitsu (good grief this takes FOREVER hahah)

Yeah. I'm less interested in the graphics, and I'm fine if graphics were just the same from the first game as long as the gameplay stuff gets a lot deeper.
I emjoyed the first games a lot but it wasn't very deep once all was said and done.

to be honest everytime an upcoming game's thread gets updated, a little part of me is hoping they went timed exclusive on the epic store
yes it's like wishing to shoot myself in the foot, but i want this shit show to boil over

Warband with better graphics and better sieges and better campaign sim. isnt this what we were all expecting?

Expecting, yes. Hoping for? For sure not.
Also, i really wanted multiplayer and combat to become much better. Warband kinda kicked off a genre of melee games for me, but same decade old systems just dont cut it anymore.
