Gimme nudity, more non-scripted events, some moddability to remove ricochets, etc etc.. more choice please so the game can be extended beyond.

But yea, I hope combat text can be disabled. Will probably enabled it always for a while with a new weapon to test it's effectiveness or something, but if it looks like that still in the release, it's quite bad Razz

This could finally be it, the one that unseats Deus Ex from my favorite game throne that it has reigned on for the past 15 years.

Please don't fuck it up. More gore, more nudity, more raw futuristic grit - don't pander to the fucking SJW cunts or pull an Ubisoft in terms of visual downgrade and all is well. The stakes are high, but if anyone's going to pull this off it's going to be them!

At the end of the day it still has to appeal to the broadest mainstream console audience, so I wouldn't be expecting miracles. Certainly don't expect anything that would push it into R/AO territory.

from my understanding the HUD changes based on the eye implant you have so it could be pretty variable .... if not some mod will surely solve the isue

About spongey enemies , unlike the online looter-shooters ... in this one as mtj said it kidna makes sense that the soldiers you fight againts will have some kind of armored implants and such ... but from the footage its not really´sure how spongy it will be in final game (iirc it was even said before the fight happened that the enemies are on dangerously higher level)

About "traditional FPS/stealth gameplay." ... it was always first and foremost RPG losely based on PnP RPG. But nfrom the look of it there will be ton of ways how to involve yourself in the missions

It's hard to revolutionize in gameplay these days, as a lot has been done already. What was the last game you remember that revolutionized a genre?

I'd "settle" for a solid gameplay in established genres, a good story and an optimized engine Smile

Last gameplay revolution was Demon's Souls which basically started it's own subgenre that a million crappy indies are trying to copy now. That was almost a decade ago though, since then nothing happened.

It's only slightly similiar and was overall alot jankier and much less precise compared to Souls combat.
Stamina usage was also alot more friendly so you didn't have to think about every attack/block you do.
When you play both games back to back you notice that the combat feels very different and looks only superficially similiar.

I am very hyped for the game..
..but maybe there are big holes in the gameplay demo

mainly related to the vehicles:
what will happen if you cross the street on red?
are the cars controlled on rails? doesn't look that way from the demo
what will happen if you start running ppl over?
or start colliding with other things?
will it be GTA style? are there different derivable vehicles?
are there any other means of transportation?
how big is the city? are there other hub zones?

the holes made in the wall in the first scene were limited to that one wall only
bullets either disappeared or were stopped by the 2-nd wall - so only certain walls can be shot through?

the first KO was VERY scripted with the shot under water
are there other context related kills?

can you kill random ppl? can the police be after you?
they mentioned different groups in the game, is there a reputation system?

I'd say he's your typical RPG trope early/starter companion. Have him around to show you the ropes at the start, then kill him off as part of a whole "raising the stakes" segment to push the narrative along.

I actually hope it won't be too "gta-style" honestly (in the sense of: take a vehicle and start fucking about running over everyone, going wherever you want, etc.). Mainly because this seems much more story-driven and that doesn't play well with the "total freedom to cause mayhem" approach

At least this time they have printed all over the place that graphics aren't final - meaning, downgrades. Same as for Witcher 3. I wonder if they'll use this build up until the last 3 weeks and use for screenshots Wink Like they did for Witcher 3..

That bit was specifically for an FPS environment. It can be based on whatever.

The armour explanation I'd fully accept if that were the case... but it will be: lvl based, item based for the most part. More in line with: The Division, Borderlands, Destiny...

That playstyle doesn't click with me when its guns+First Person because nearly always you end up with heavy bullet sponges.

Feel free to like it, I'm well aware other people like that kind of gameplay. It was after all, about my preference/disappointment.
