Dunno, i havent seen that info anywhere yet. I wont be playing the beta much as I dont wanna see to much before the full release.

The cutscenes are not render ones or in-game. They are painted. You kind of see your chars during battles though.
Edit: Well, there seem to be two kinds of cutscenes.

The Bards Tale Triology was release some days ago on steam. First 3 (well, first one so far..the rest will arrive in a couple of months) of The Bards tale in remastered editions.
Really awsome games and wellmade remasters!
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

If you are a backer you may not receive the email to claim your Remaster key but just go to the CrowdOx survey and update it with your choice between the two choices of GOG or Steam.

That trailer looks kind of cheap and had I not got this on Kickstarter I am not sure if that would get me to spend $40 on the title unless they are really just banking on the older players of the original series buying it on name recognition only (and yes I have played the previous games).

Got an e-mail today a few hours back telling me to re-open my pledge. Clicked the link, had to click back to step 1 (it defaulted to step 2 for whatever reason), and made my platform selection in the drop down box.
10 minutes later I got my Steam key.
So yea, if you backed this on Kickstarter for $20 all those years ago, keep an eye on your inbox for the key email.

So the backer keys do not have any of the other DLC goodies yet as they are listied as Standard edition and they will be sending out DLC keys for all that extra stuff next week. Seems like I will be holding off playing this till I actually get all that stuff I guess.

It was on the Steam forums from one of the Devs. I did misread it a bit though as I guess it was posted Friday so hopefully it could be later this week for all the DLC keys but either way it seems we are forced to wait to get all our bonus items as it seems that the backer key should have all the DLCs that are part of the Ultimate edition.

Looking at those forums leads to what they said from the Kickstarter page:
"Just a FYI for those wondering about the "standard edition" key - The digital items will be arriving in a separate email. With all the different tiers, add-ons, and packages, it was the easiest way to address tens of thousands of individualized orders. We'll drop a note in the Kickstarter comments once those emails start going out."

They really should have just given all the backers the Ultimate edition keys since it seems like we are supposed to get that stuff no matter the tier anyways and it would have solved all this confusion.
