depends on what kind of drugs, weed, hashish, absinthe, lsd are not bad.
but on the other hand xtc, coke, smack can get you very fucked up so just stay far away from em.

Agreed.
I dont need to escape my problems through false realities instead I choose to face them head on and I also dont need to act cool infront of anyone for approval of the "in" crowd im in charge of my own life and that is the only drug I need I wont even mention the damage done to your body physically and mentally.

Using drugs isn't just a way to escape problems.. Sure some ppl
use them to forget 'bout how fucked up their life is.
On the other hand you can do drugs simply for fun.
It's just you character which has to be strong enough to
prevent addiction.
And don't force other ppl to do drugs and don't let you force to do so.
Yeah.. and don't do heroin since it's uncontrollable, no matter how strong
you are.

thanks man, I was just about to write the same thing ... its funny how society is trained to think only people with problems would ever do drugs and that they are sooo bad for u ... seriously, smoking some weed is no worse than drinking a shot of vodka ...
I have experimented with things and it was all for fun ...weed is the best thing before a good movie of few hours of gaming ... cant beat that ...

This really sounds like straight from a usa highschool anti drug booklet ... please ... before you even start talking about damage, at least get your facts straight. More people are killed from Alcohol then all drugs combined every year. That does body some serious damage no?
I respect people who tried something and simply decided that its not their thing. What I never liked are the people who run around saying drugs are bad and they don't even know what they are talking about. Most of the time those are the peole who end up using some kind of a "legal" medication by age of 25 ... whatever, everyone should choose to their own liking and leave other people alone to do what they like.
Btw Syco, its glass with the ice holder and a big bubble in the bottom, but not too long its like 2 feet maybe.
And yes I am high and this does not hurt my throat. Woohoo

Weed just doesn't do it for me, for some reason. I prefer alcohol.

I dont like drugs because a relative of mine who happened to be a druggy managed to find herself in a situation where she was the only survivor out of 8 people. Her little druggy friends all got their butts shot. Now i dont really like anything that inspires a culture of thugs shooting other thugs over a little packet of white power which may very well be sugar.Now im sure my cousin will be bashed from hell and back for being stupid but lets keep it to a minimum.

My apologies then dude. I know how that is as I have lost a few ppl to hardcore drug abuse. But, not everyone lets it consume them or abuses it. If i dont have the money to waste, i wont grab a bag of erbs or a case of beer ya know? when u start stealing and things of the sort to support your habit, then I totally agree something should be done.
Its not fair to lump a recreational 'drug' user in with the crackheads, smachheads, chemheads etc. And by recreational i mean ganja, alcohol, maybe some harder things, depending on your tolerance.
Drugs, by themselves, arent bad. Rather, its the individual who uses them incorrectly, or simply shouldnt use drugs.
Although, certain drugs like heroin and meth and speed should be cracked down on even more. I lived in a rough area(s) all my life and never once have i met a rasta or some next casual ganja smoker, parties on weekends type of guy, who was a bum and jukin ppl for rocks.
Its the smack and the crack man, horrible horrible drugs.
Best thing ive found in those sorta situations is to let the person know u care about em, you'll help em and thats it. Sometimes a person has to hit rock bottem before they clean up...sad but true.
EDIT - To add the culture aspect, yeah, i think glorifying drugs, the way some do in the media, is wrong. Rap being the foremost avenue. As kids grow up they are going to learn about guns and drugs and have the choices to make...I dont like the fact that those aspects of life are forced upon kids at an earlier age nowadays...
On one side kids have ppl telling them to not take shit, dont be a pussy, do this do that and on the other, we have a bunch of old people trying to breed pacifists...strange id say.
