wtf? Has caesar been killed? I think I have watched all teh eps. But I havent seen that shit? I mean, from what Ive seen its gotta be a season 2. Last thing was like this lesbian woman and her son talking about killing caesar ? dono..

I would like to thank Syco and Fisk for introducing me to such a fantastic series. Enjoyed virtually every minute, was quite refreshing.
Plus, the way absolutely nothing is censored made certain aspects quite unpredictable. E.g. when pullo smashed that kids face into the wall repeatedly until he died, was totally unexpected and shocking and that arena fight has the most realistic gore i've seen this side of 'A history of violence'.

You obviously haven't watched all the episodes then. Caesars death was quite horrific and sorrowful in my opinion.

Season two is somewhat weaker than season one, sadly, but still very good. Amazing searies.

yeah season 2 was originally supposed to be 2 seasons, but they compacted it into 1, which makes the plot advance rather fast (rise and fall of Marc Anthony).

I loved this series, true Season 2 was weaker due to them rushing but still much better than most stuff they are/were airing

yeah, it's easily one of the best tv shows ever made. And yeah, most of the details aren't historical accurate (heck, almost every character is made up (altered) to fit the tv format and still (or because of).
Oh and they use the "star wars" formula (which was copied from some chinese movie), i.e. folloing the 2 lowliest characters through all the episodes (replace r2d2 and c3po Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo) and it just works to perfection.
fuck, i wish they would make a show about every time of the history of rome like this lol.
