Yes I would like to see it. It doesn'tmatter who made it as long as it's closer to the first one than the second. That was such a sequel killer

Old news but i found this aparently they were atleast planning a number 3 if they arnt still.
http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=56449
Eidos is planning a third Deus Ex title and another, more modern Thief title, according to comments made by former Eidos president Rob Dyer while he was still at the company, which surfaced in an online interview earlier this week.
Speaking in an interview on 1UP.com, Dyer said Eidos was "going to try to get more of a consumer focus into [its] games," and new Deus Ex and Thief titles would be symbolic of this shift in approach.
"Deus Ex: Invisible War was a good game with solid reviews, but not enough people bought it. We'll fix that in the future. There definitely will be a Deus Ex 3. People want another Thief, too. We'll make that series more modern, though," he said, adding, "the medieval thing's run its course," which is sure to bound to upset fans of Garrett's shadow-hopping antics.
Dyer also indicated that Eidos would develop for any formats that came its way in the next few years. "We're completely platform-agnostic," he said. "Whatever the machine, we'll be there." Dyer himself won't be, of course, having taken up the post of Crave president and COO earlier this August.

You really should play the first part. It's amazing and one of the best games ever made. Easily in my top 10.

there was a second part? seriously part 2 was a carpet stain compared to part 1. altho i wish that some remaining ex-looking glass guys would get together and do another one right i think the only hope now is a fan creation. and eidos is just a pure money making entity that couldnt give two craps about depth of game design, if there will be a part 3 im sure it will be just as shoddy as the last.

I loved the Deus Ex game. I have played it again and again and again. Don't remember exactly but I think I finished DeusEx about 3 times from start to the end.
It was really really good game.
But the DeusEx 2 was a peace of shit. How the hell did they manage to make this game so bad. Like the story was totally crap. The game play was crap. Like the maps where so small and even then it dint look nice and it felt lagy all the time.
If they are planning to make DuesEx3 then I hope its going to be more like the first Deus Ex game. But recently all Eidos games have been full of bugs or just crap.
I still remember the deus ex 1 menu music and most of the game sounds

Deus Ex 2 ? Worst sequel ever!
Part 1 was based on a modified UT1 engine (?), and one of the best best action rpg EVER!!!
Gimme part 3 with any "outdated" engine (ut3, farcry, doom3, hl2..) and a decent rpg part
And no console-prostitution please!!!

I agree. If you've never played the first part then you're not a true PC gamer. Same as if you've never played System Shock.

Loved the first Deus Ex, vey innovative and smart gameplay, great story and characters.
Hated the second part, dumbfucked down console version.
So, if Spector isn't in and the game isn't made specifically for PC, I won't even bother.

System Shock 3 would be nice too... not for me of course (i'm too old for that kind of shocks),
but there are SO many lost gems.
I'm SOOO tired of those "multiplayer-enhanced-oops-we-did-it-again" fps

Deus EX was one of the best games I have ever played! I really love the futuristic ambience and the great and immersive story in it. I can´t forget the Hong Kong level, I just love the asian ambiences. About Deus EX: Invisible War, I liked the game but it made me sad in some aspects like, universal ammo, no strategy in inventory, too DAMN MUCH loadings and too short. And more stuff that I can´t remember!! And my answer to the Poll is "Hell yes"

the truth is that consoles are not good enough yet.
their limited hardware will degrade any title later released on the PC. it's like a genius being forced to operate on a retard's level. The dumbing down is extreme. The genius loses severely and the retard doesn't know what he is missing.

i loved the first one, actully played it again not to long ago. but the secound 1 was awful, it wasnt good in any part if you ask me, the game was poorly optimized and almost unplayble. the AI was completly retarded, and the story really sucked.
