I grew tired of it around 16-18 years old. I still have it in Sickbeard though. Just checked and I have 3 completely unwatched seasons LOL, and about 10 before that with sporadic "watched episodes".

But yeh Simpsons suffer from what most shows suffer in time. Same with family guy, at the end it was more meh than yeey!

Rick and Morty is superior to any other cartoon that's airing right now, though Archer is also great if you enjoy the theme of it.

I really starting to think it is a time for the show's makers to finally let it go. I'm still watching some episodes from time to time though,mostly for halloween episodes and some crossover sttuffs.
