If they change something, all the drooling esport morons would complain that it doesn't feel the same They might have to learn something new rather than play the same shit like zombies for 15 years
rofl sc1 remaster is a joke, why play in the old engine when you can get Starcraft: Mass Recall and play SC1 in SC2 engine, lazy ass blizzard they are a joke themselves
Nothing more to add that hasn't been said about the models looking completely out of place with the map looking like the same - heights and cliffs still look rough as hell - and out of style as well, I totally agree that they should have a more WoW-ish appeal, this looks too realistic/crisp.
The UI doesn't look that good either, like some crappy user-made modification, the unit portraits are so weird..
The units don't look bigger to me though, they always looked way out of proportion relative to the rest of the world, the hitboxes have to be the same.
What a disappointment, not that we expect anything else from Blizzard these days.
I'm only interested in the additional World Editor features and what that could mean for the custom map community - that has always been where the game truly shined. Hopefully they don't fuck it up like vanilla SC2, but I'm not too confident.

"Writer Christie Golden, who has worked with Blizzard on multiple novels set in the Warcraft universe over the past two decades, is helping to bring “parity” to the stories of Warcraft 3 and World of Warcraft, which will require retconning some of the strategy game’s story. Those changes will bring “renewed focus to a few central characters that we thought deserved a little bit more time in the limelight,” Stillwell said."
I guess the gameplay itself won't be too overhauled although there is a chance for various balance tune-ups I guess plus later down the line post-release in response to player feedback especially for online play.

This sounds terrible. I've seen Blizzard's retconning at work before...

hud is still half the screen
Such a bad frame drop from 100 to 30 almost every few seconds. The 3rd video seemed fine but the first 2 were super frustrating with that screen freeze.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Warcraft III: Reforged, the long-awaited remake of iconic RTS Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne expansion, will debut on PC on January 29, 2020.
did they pay any taxes yet or kick out china yet ? if not #nocare , and judging by the size of this thread, not many care, not a single post about beta n shit jaiks¨
Yes, we should all care. We should ignore the fact that video games are an escape (for many) from the shitty aspects of life and bring those shitty aspects here with every chance we got.
we all should care, china and tax evazion, are major social isseus that threathen the core of democracy and life on this planet in the big picture, while this shitty videogame is meaningless in the scope of things, just a cashgrab remaster hehe
Take it to World News (or /pol/ ) and leave us the fuck alone with our videogames, kthx.

I'd rather have Warcraft IV than a remastered without virtually not changing the gameplay at all.
The new Graphics look nice, but it's dated by today standards and its improved on the very dated graphics of the original, but it's still dated and I don't think I want to rebuy the same game again.
