Even though I know it will be for naught, I hope a giant shitstorm comes Blizzard's way. 2 years ago I started sarcasticly joking about a Diablo mobile game as the next installment... now I know to shut my fucking mouth when it comes to these things.
This is literally an insult to all Diablo players and it shows that Blizzard just doesn't care anymore. This very game's existance is proof that they don't.
I bet its gonna have "autoplay" like other mobile "action RPGs" so you can stare at your bot I mean character run around killing stuff while you pay money to open lootboxes for a 1% chance at legendary gear.

Blizzard was already being lame well before they merged with Activision... Nothing new here, their last games were Warcraft 3 and WoW vanilla (2004, not burning crusade).
Yeah but they merged with activision years ago, not today.
Activision or not this was always the direction blizzard were going to after they shipped WoW.
Remember most of their talents left right after they “finished” WoW (because it was rushed for Xmas in the US and was missing end game content that was not ready in time).
Same thing about Blizzard North, most of their talents left after Diablo 2.
Ironically enough though is that their RTS team is supposed to be the most “complete” one yet they could only remaster Warcraft 3!?! Although let’s not expect much, I think Starcraft 2 was a major disappointment and most of the team was also working on War3 RoC.
