I'll be in Brussels for a few days during September.
Does anyone know what options do I have for data plans? Just internet, no phone required.
Thanks

And it's prepaid, so you can top it of if needed.
But WiFi is, of course, present almost everywhere. So if you stop to have a drink or eat somewhere, you'll be able to ask the code.
Prices put aside, the coverage is great, and the speed's pretty sweet too.

Anyway, Orange is indeed the best prepaid plan out there for you Smile
You'll find an Orange shop easily in the center (and pretty much everywhere), so it won't be a problem to find a card and activate it.

Welcome to Hell! Twisted Evil

PS: you can tell me what you want to see/care for and I can recommend you a few places if you want Smile

isnt data EU wide these days also... ? just buy where is cheapest and use there. Here in germany the bloody supermarket liddle offers cheaper then all the trash scamming phone shops in the city. Not the mention the phone shops their stock almost always is out to make u buy a more expensive one.

I have an EU citizenship and I’ll be in Bulgaria before Belgium, but prepaid plans have roaming disabled.

Thank you.
I haven’t made plans yet. Just AIRBNB. I’d love some recommendations.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

If it's just a few days stay in Brussels IMO. There's more than enough to see.

Again, just help me with a few interests, and I'll be able to whip something up Smile
Do you like/hate museums? Do you enjoy walking? Live music? Which kind? etc...

All of those are pretty close to each other (*real* Brussels is kinda small, and always well connected with public transports).

And if you wanna meet for a beer after work, I'm in the center, so I'll be glad to oblige

We'll be in touch. I am not traveling alone so we'll see how it goes if I can sneak out for a couple of hours.

Hubu's suggestions are good! Bout the same we did when I took the waifu to Brussels.

Also be sure to drink an overpriced beverage on the Grand Place and get disappointed at 'Manneke Pis' and what nonsense it is.

Transportation is pretty great, everything close by or just a short ride in the subway away. If' you're feeling a bit more adventurous: take a train somewhere. Belgium is small so most things are just an hour away.

Data plans I have no clue about, haven't had my Belgian number for 3 years now nor have I looked into any other operator over there since I moved.

So I visited Natural Sciences, Mini Europe, parks, Autoworld, Grand Place, Botanique garden (really disappointed). Lucked out today and it was No Car Sunday, so walked all over the city with the people. Maneken Pis is piserable indeed, but I was expecting this. Tomorrow before the flight, might visit Fine Arts.

Whenever I visit Bulgaria, I am saddened by how bad everything is. A country full of old people, simpleton culture, everyone speaking like idiots, everyone smoking like a chimney. Young 18-20 year old women with babies and already pregnant with second child. Visiting elsewhere in Europe or indeed in the developed world, the difference is stark. I was in Plovdiv, the 2019 culture capital of Europe Laughing Laughing , rode a bus in the city, where there are conductors. Toward the end of the line, the conductor went to clean the bus. So naturally he picked trash from the ground and through it out of the window. Laughing

Customer service is even worse than in Israel, which I never imagined possible several years ago. I am often critical of everything in Israel, but damn.
