JUST CAUSE 4 is the biggest, most varied and beautiful game in the series. The brand new Deep Dive Trailer gives players an overview of everything they can expect from the most ambitious Just Cause game to date.
Looks already kinda aged and not that impressive... 1080ti, i9, 4k, 45 fps? uughhhh

24 hours Early Access starts from 5pm today UK time (8 hours from now), and then game launches for everyone else on PC platform tomorrow at 5pm UK time (32 hours from now).
So PC users will get 24 hours early access, its just not the exact same times as the console versions, due to all our PC titles launching at a single time not rolling midnight launches.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
The question is how does it run? Till then, can't be arsed to waste money on this franchise anymore.
i9 9900k with a 1080Ti at 3840x2160 and around 45 frames per second it seems.
Should be able to hit near 60 at lower res but yeah that's pretty high-end hardware.
Although if the game isn't scaling reliable then a higher clocked quad or hexa core shouldn't fare that much worse really. GPU's probably the major thing as usual.
No RTX 2080 Ti? Weird. I will publish some pics and videos later. I just received my code, sadly.
Nobody uses it for benchmarking, since it will explode before benchmarking session is over. Anyway, with this kind of physics engine, how the driving model is still from Big Rigs?? Unbeliavable..
I didn't bother much with it after the initial parts before you had the resources for the bigger guns and vehicles in Just Cause 2
For Just Cause 3 I couldn't really use it much since I wasn't a fan of the challenge gears and never bothered with them, it had some novelty early on but the explosives had far better results for what I was doing most of the time though creative people would make some interesting stuff with the tether system and there were mods.
Here? Well only got an hour into the game so far and wasn't very impressed but the physics seem overhauled a bit but the red stuff is everywhere and explosives can quickly kill you when a series of them go off and bouncy you about like a ragdoll ha ha.
The constant low-quality terribly compressed cutscenes they switch to also takes you out of the game though I'm hoping there will be less of it as the story continues and I saw at least one in-game cutscene so that's nice.
Visuals seem really dated too but there's some sharpening effect in play which I need to dig around and see about disabling, no luck so far though and the options and command-line arguments are both quite limited.
(And the game is very heavily aliased even with SMAA T2X or what the temporal AA is using.)
Runs well enough though, longer initial load time as it loads into the game same as Just Cause 2 and then it's pretty brief from there on. Less stuttering although it's crashed three times already but two of these were messing with ReShade so it might have some anti-cheat stuff again or other compatibility issues with third party utilities perhaps, needs more testing.
Spoiler:
I know it's cheesy with the thing about toppling El Dictator all over the world in banana republics that might be real-life inspired places but the family drama here is ridiculous and Rico's once again new appearance is also jarring though I guess it's not the first time that happened.
This is Rico Rodriguez son of this guy...who is the son of El Bad-dude and his...woman(?) whatever she is who in turn is the cousing of this other woman you're traveling with since I think Just Cause 3 and then her other cousin who is a bumbling dude or something and quickly promoted to commander just happens to be in this one village and everything is getting into some big family feud drama.
And the fuck Rico you disabled a weather control tower from Japans Weird-War 2 division back on the second game already in JC2, never seen anything at all like this my arse.
It works exactly the same too summing storms and now with a it of extra snow added on to it whoop de do.
JC3 ran great for me... but because sooooooooo many had problems I'm also waiting for the demo.
After all I'm still on the 970 and for some reason have a feeling it won't cut it this time around.
But yeah, while I enjoyed the third one... JC2 was better for me as well.
First one I can't even remember how much I played it. Don't think it was that much.
