It's apparently up if you use TOR, not vanilla internet.

No idea. While cs.rin.ru is struggling with their provider I'm guessing one of the staff is running it privately (and thus chose to use TOR to encrypt and obfuscate traffic).
It's pretty simple to just get a TOR-browser. I don't have the tor-address though, you'll have to ask someone else about that.

It's not like it is the only place to get them. That being said, I thought they only hosted GOG. Did that change? So what about Cuntendo?

They hosted regular releases from scenes and last month or so they started hosting roms including Nintendo.
And Cuntendo recently made a high scale antypiracy move, sueing LoveROMS and LoveRETRO for hundred million dollars and killing among others Emuparadise in the fallout.
Somehow GOD and emuparadise had very similar tone of farewell message, threatning messages, complains yadayada, not risking the futures of the team members.
The shutdown happened right after they started the ROM part of their site with GOG knowing of their existance for much, much longer and both parties didn't give a shit about it.

Yeah, I knew about loveroms and such. Just didn't know GOD started with ROMs as well.
Pitty, it was a nice public site for once. Never made use of it since I got my regular places but still sad to see them go.

I used IGG before I found out GOD. Yeah the site is full of popups and java overlays but that's nothing an adblock and script wouldn't manage.
But I have never had any issue with the releases they posted there. GOD of course was better but I don't care. Never cought a virus or some malware from IGG.
