Though the game is a spin-off. (And probably using the same map.)
EDIT: I'll go with antagonist, Far Cry tends to use cover arts to shock after all. And the undefined nobodies aren't anywhere near as defined as the villains on cover arts.
Which goes for Tied-to-car here and the two BDSM worshipers near the church having all the fun.

Pink text, oppressive symbol of the patriarchy strapped to a car, strong powerful black wamen, Ubisoft, 2018, same gun in woman's hands as shown in teaser
I'm going to go with protagonists
There's also the possibility that the one in the left is on a wheelchair, bonus privilege points yo

The composition is shit... well there is no composition. And I too can't believe this might be true.

So has everyone forgotten the ending of FC5? Because this looks as if it's a direct followup of that.
If you look closely the guy strapped to the car looks like Joseph Seed (the main antagonist of the game).
Edit:
Even the little crack-churches and silos are visible in the background.
Yeah, this seems to be a direct follow-up to what happened in FC5.
Far Cry New Dawn is up for order on Amazon ($39.99, out tomorrow December 7th apparently)
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Introducing Far Cry New Dawn, the standalone sequel to Far Cry 5. Watch the World Premiere trailer and discover how Hope County, Montana has changed seventeen years after a global nuclear catastrophe. Far Cry New Dawn releases February 15, 2019 for $39.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One,
lmao and here I was, thinking of ripping off Metro and Stalker into a post-apocalyptic Far Cry experience
EDIT: No, shitlord, it will be a rosy place where the patriarchy will be smashed by a dynamic duo of colored girls with rasta blonde hair. Edgy as fuck!

Looks like you were right. They're the twins going around harassing survivors, your job as the undefined hero (most likely create your own like in FC5) is to help the survivors against them.
