They sometimes get put into an inner hangar when someone else needs the landing pad. When you press Shift-D while walking on the station, you should get a list of available ships, including the stored ones.

I had an a ship on auto explore, in the zone with the PHQ (Grand Exchange 1), try to find the edge of the zone. It flew off the hexagon and looked like it was in the next zone (Path to Profit), but it was not.

Here are screenshots of it, making an almost 10K km sized zone.

It was gone, as if it never existed, I tried Shift-D but that just got me into the other owned landed ship, it was gone on the map too, and in the owned ships, I understand that a ship can be destroyed in space but, on the station, thats weird. It doesn't matter anyway I bought a new one, and another problem I see is that some ships when you send them to a place always take the longer way to get there, when they use the "highways".

X4 should have been delayed a couple of months so they could finish it and run it through thorough Q&A. At least they're still working on finishing it. Just a bit annoying that they released it in an unfinished state because there's a good game behind the bugs and unfinished stuff.

I actually have a friend who moved to Barcelona; hHis son lives there and work with growing marijuana legally for medical purposes. Now they both get high, play and record music, take care of their precious herbs and live a life I wish I did. Wink

the cost of the game really doesn't fit well with the state of it, that's for sure. most definitely a minimum QA effort all around, i don't think it was considered seriously.

It's getting better and better. In 1.32, sectors so far feel more alive, there are more conflicts going on and I actually die sometimes when fighting other small vessels!

yeah 1.32 b1 with the economy working(?) looks like fun, the game is going good places if they keep it up.

I can confirm, 1.32 and the game world is booming now. Before all the Xenon and Khaak ships were completely gone. I could crystal mine in red sectors to my heart's content. Now, not so much without constant harassment.

Also, there's a Nexus section already set up.

Some real convenience mods on there already. Longer long range scan, sector-wide satellite coverage, faster tractor beam, etc.

The thing with X4 and its economy is, that is a "real" economy. Goods are consumed. E.g. a shipyard without parts, won't build ships (guess you all been stuck inside a shipyard, too) And the AI also needs resources and wares.

So, in the end, because the AI didn't build ships, everything else eventually flatlined. The Wars, the trades etc.

In X3, the economy was "faked", Ai didn't need resourced to do anything. It would just artificially use them up, so the player had something to sell.

Only difference between player and AI, is that the AI has unlimited Credits.

Yeah, jumping from 1.32 to 1.5 with just bug fixes is a bit over the top. But in the end it's just a number that means absolutely nothing. Smile

Well, 1.50 Beta 1 is not worth playing. Worth testing, but not worth playing Smile

Couple hours in and the game is running at single digit FPS. Seems like they introduced some AI script bugs.

yeah the forum is on fire, all the traffic is unable to dock/go through gates and just piles up, seems Egosoft threw the patch out and went to sleep Laughing
probably won't take them too long to realize, but they'll still come back to a shitstorm of less than happy people.
