Pretty darn reasonable price for a remastered classic showing up for the first time on steam...
...
Will wait for bundle.

I think I bought DotT for like 5 bucks on humble bundle together with a bunch of other games, I think...

I still don't see the point of the remasters myself - they're a little prettier but they also lose the charm of VGA graphics in the process. What used to be amazing pixel art turns into cartoon art which feels and looks too smooth to me.

Yeah, the remastered art definitely gives a different feeling no matter the attempts to maintain the same style, almost watercolor-like (with high definition models on top of it). I don't dislike it though for a change (a few screens that I took a while back: https://imgur.com/a/9vZ5v ).
Thankfully similarly to DOTT there's the option to switch between the original and remastered versions so everyone's satisfied

If anything, it introduces a younger audience to awesome games they otherwise would never bother with. With any luck, it could inspire a new era of (good) point&click adventures. |
Indeed, one can hope
We're actually lucky that the wave hasn't completely run its course since companies like Wadjet Eye, Amanita and others are still around when it comes to delivering classic adventures. It's a breath of fresh (..yet cozy and vintage) air.

Probably he replayed it.
It took me hours to play it initially in 1995, but I remember many of the silly puzzles and would rush them through I guess.
One of the hardest one I remember was to beat that guy by tricking him into changing the road signals. Now would take me 1 sec to do this...

You are supposed to be stuck at some points for a long time and waste time pixel hunting and trying random stuff. You didn't play it properly. | No more pixel hunting you press SHIFT and everything is highlighted, modern technology FTW
