The singleplayer was godawful (worst to date in my opinion). Short 1-2 hour segments. Episode 1 you play as a criminal press-ganged into SAS service. Episode 2 you play as a strong independent wahmen. Episode 3 you play as an oppressed Sengalese recruit. Episode 4 (the only one remotely resembling any sort of "war story") you get to put on the boots of a German Tiger tank commander.

All in all however I felt that the SP was a giant waste of time.

According to some comment on xrel it seems to be the latest version as it includes also "The last tiger" dlc.

After BC2 they all are a waste of time, this one more than before though.
Can anyone even remember what happened in BF4? I sure as fuck can't, I can barely remember what happened in BF1.

BF1's single player "campaign" was the last straw for me, no longer a derp romp for shits and giggles but something seriously headed towards pure masochism. This one will have to be buried in the 'not even worth to be yarred' cemetery of shame Sad Laughing

Yeah, they didn't address the actual issue. The TTK wasn't the problem, it's several other things. Like the "1 frame kill" aka Super Bullets.

Imho the game also feels very arcadish, even more than BF1. In BF1 at least it was harder to kill someone because you had that random spray (or whatever it was), that was added. In BFV it's WAY too easy to hit someone, from any position, at any distance, with any gun.

50% off

Tempting, still around $5 - $10 too high though. Keep sliding Cool Face

Bought the game for 38 bucks on cdkeys.com some 2 weeks ago, not expecting much. And I have 2500 hrs in both BF3 and 4...and countless more in the predecessors. BF was my absolute #1 game-series, until BF1 came along...on which I had to drag myself to get like 150 hrs...it just wasn't fun.

However, I had SOME fun with this game, although the maps are starting to become somewhat boring. 38€ is a fair price I doubt I would have paid more than that on Origin, remembering the BF1-fail.

I more or less just played Breakthrough or Grand Operations and once I switched over to Conquest, the game was full of noobs and I had a good time slicing through them while they were running from flag to flag.

The veterans are found in BT or GO, Conquest has become noob-haven. :>

I went back to playing BFIV the other night. Still plenty of players. No need to buy this until they get really desperate with the pricing IMOOO. They've no choice if they want to keep it alive.

It's pretty funny how companies keep appealing to the SJW crowd, piss off millions of gamers in the process, refuse to back down and then place the blame of poor sales on anything BUT their attitude.

You'd think they'd learn from it as well but companies like Bioware so sick to the core that they can make Dragon Age Inquisition which already got quite a lot of negativity, followed by Andromeda which was a shit show and now another Dragon Age game which they openly admit will push their SJW agenda AGAIN. Another franchise going F2P in the near future? They've already dropped the price by 50%, echoing FO76.

I bet DICE (at least the people actually working on the games; management couldn't be happier I guess) must be soooooo sick of churning out nothing but annual BF's. I wonder how many of the most talented people in DICE have left over the years to do more interesting stuff.

Don't thank me, the white knights at EA caused all of these discounts, thank them instead

They're not the ones posting links to their discounted game, you are.
But ok, thanks EA for discounting the game.
And thanks ubisoft and activision blizzard who discount their games a couple months down the line on a regular basis as well.

How low can it go?

Fallout 76 is already 66% off at some key sites. Amazing for a game that has only been out for a month.
