Resident Evil 7: biohazard sales top 4.8 million
Quote:
Total sales for Resident Evil 7: biohazard, including the December 2017-launched Resident Evil 7: biohazard Gold Edition, have topped 4.8 million units, Capcom’s latest financial results reveal.

That means 700,000 copies of Resident Evil 7: biohazard were sold since Capcom’s previous results in November, which reported 4.1 million lifetime sales.

Everyone has atleast one RE game they like, I don't think anyone who calls himself a gamer can say with a straight face that there isn't even a single one for them.
There are 7 and to some extent 1 for true horror fans, then there are 2 and 3 (and maybe Code Veronica) for those who like a sprinkle of action on top, 5 and 6 for those who like their survival "horror" purely action-focused with batshit insane setpieces and coop.
If you don't love 4, then you don't know shit anyway and your opinion doesn't count, simple as that Razz

The End Of Zoe DLC seems to be pretty good.
Anyway to play the pirate version of it with a legit base game?
Like with CreamAPI or something?

@tet666
CreamAPI worked like a charm indeed. Smile

Finished base game and EoZ.
The base game was really good and an enjoyable ride.
Glad to see it after the abomination RE6 was.

Easy 8/10.

EoZ was very cool too, fisting the enemies to death.
So Much Win
Also great boob physics when you carried Zoe.

And the menu song is awesome:

PS: Thanks again Zotten for this!

Wonder when it got added, also I wish that could be filtered out.

You see a update and check but no it was just the tag popularity that got swapped around. Very Happy

Like Ni-No-Kuni 2 here, three days of nothing but tag updates.
https://steamdb.info/app/589360/history/

It's minor though, easy enough to scroll down until something of use pops up.
(These user voted tags aren't the greatest though some can be good for filtering out certain types of games.)

EDIT: And some reviewer slapped the game around so they fell below the golden meta standard of 85 so now the devs are on the brink of bankruptcy and getting laid off I'm guessing. Heh fucking idiotic using meta-critic as a standard for quality so obviously publishers are using it. Razz
(Well it's a Japanese studio so maybe not as extreme as some US and EU ones about that stuff.)

Anyways the VR exclusivity of 1 year should be out now so maybe RE7 PC VR too?
(Cue Twitch obvious jump-scare reaction vids and millions of viewers donating because that one dude is literally pissing himself for a few cents. )
(Though it adds up I've heard.)

(Though not having to get naked and taking it in the ass while STILL making more money and far quicker than in the adult industry just pissing about? Plus that racing chair with some "gaming" logo on it was probably worth about piss anyway in terms of quality so well. Very Happy )

Eh the game is good, VR could work pretty well depending on how it's implemented too.

Resident Evil 7 is now Capcom’s fifth best-selling game ever, with 5.1 million sold
Quote:
Capcom have announced a major new sales milestone for RE7.

Resident Evil 7 has hit a new sales milestone, and it’s an especially notable one. Capcom have announced that the game has sold 5.1 million units as of March 31, making it the fifth best-selling game in the company’s history.

Notably, that makes it the best-selling horror-focused entry in the RE series, only beaten out by the more action-packed stylings of 5 and 6, both of which have had years more time to continue picking up sales. Here’s the Capcom’s all-time top ten, per their corporate website, accurate up to December 2017 for older games updated with more recent numbers for current titles like Monster Hunter: World.

    Monster Hunter: World - 7.5 million+
    Resident Evil 5 - 7.3 million
    Resident Evil 6 - 7.1 million
Street Fighter II - 6.3 million
    Resident Evil 7 - 5.1 million
    Resident Evil 2 - 4.96 million
    Monster Hunter Freedom 3 - 4.9 million
    Monster Hunter X - 4.3 million
    Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - 4.2 million
    Monster Hunter 4 - 4.1 million

https://www.pcgamesn.com/resident-evil-7/resident-evil-7-sales-4-million

RE5 and especially RE6 sales though. Rolling Eyes

It was absolutely fantastic. I mean the whole atmosphere was the very definition of how horror should be presented. It was so tense the entire time. This definitely deserves to rise above Resident Evil 5 & 6 in terms of sales. I'm surprised Resident Evil 6 sold that much considering the amount of flak it received, while Resident Evil 4 is not even on that last. Sad

It's still unclear, but given all the hints it shouldn't take too long now on paper (since the exclusivity deal has run its course).
I can't even imagine how beautifully terrifying the game must be on a proper VR equipment, the standard version already gave me several mini-heart attacks with its amazing atmosphere. Me Gusta Such a bloody good game, it made the RE franchise relevant again after all the repeated and nearly lethal d-Virus infections funded by the evil Greenpear Corp.

I think they probably were thinking about doing it at some point, but it's a matter of not having available staff to spare as they are hard at work on RE2make and RE8 (not to mention a RE3make is rumored to already be in development, so yeah, not a lot of resources available to spare).

But Vorpx is pretty good if you configure it right.

EW 2 was amazing. 1 was okish and way too long (Drawn out).
Res7 was fantastic but the boat section was way too long and mostly sucked. It should be way tighter on the boat and go to caves sooner.
