Maybe I’m just easily impressed but geez you guys are killing my hype lol. I reserve judgement but remain optimistic. I think it looks good and the framerate looks solid and it’s obviously not running on a PC. Im all for an open world zombie game and the gameplay reminds me of The Last of Us with a motorbike lol. I guess a lot of games are generic these days because it’s all been done before but this is a high profile Sony exclusive, so it’s bound to be a hit, amiright?
Order 1866 was Sony exclusive, but wasn't a hit.
Sorry if I'm killing your hype, but that's how I see it right now. I might be wrong, we'll have to wait an see.
Hopefully this will be a sleeper hit. What gives me a bit of faith is the the most recent delay was to polish the game. My only gripe with this is that "freakers" is a shite name for a zombie. Finger's crossed that it delivers.
Funny I thought The Order was long enough, I had to force myself to finish it... The game itself was good, but it seemed to me the story sucked completely (as in, a 10 y old kid wrote it) and they stretched it on 5h (which was really painful).
Good thing it it was short IMO. The graphics though are impressive, even nowadays... This game still amazes me.
"and if things go bad, you will respawn with your bike"...:WTF? saying something like this in a trailer and you know that the game has little too offer.
If this indeed was a good game, then by now they should be able to present plenty of cool and interesting scenarios from the game, i've seen nothing of the sort. I've seen the protagonist riding around on his bike, i've seen that you can buy upgrades for the bike, i've seen that you can shoot zombies - all very secondary things for any other game, while here it's really the main thing, seemingly.
That video has 20,000 likes and at the moment 306 dislikes. The comments are all full of positive hype. Probably going to see a ton more videos in the next 3 months before it releases
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
From the videos it looks like the worst PS4 exclusive title ever.
And the game isn't out yet.
Trailers/before ingame demos are usually tend to be better then the actual game, so I can only guess how it will play when I finally try it.
FZ.se seemed rather unimpressed with the latest build.
It's gonna be a typical 7.5/10 game at best i think.
I also find it lame to call them Freakers, we can tell from a mile away that making them cannibals doesn't change anything, it's just a lame attempt of trying to say "we're different, it's not just another zombie game." That can work if you have a genuinely nice idea and a different enough game from the rest, this is not that, this is just the devs being full of themselves.

Like i just said, how does it matter that they're called freakers and are mindless cannibals, as opposed to mindless zombies (who also eats flesh of humans).

Yeah sure, I'm not that naive... TLOU pulled the same, and I didn't like the zombie parts at all. To me, the favorite moments are in the snow and when there are human people.
TLOU did it better because the design - hybrid mushrooms/people, quite disturbing, not something we've seen explored a lot, or even at all from what i know. But yes, they are obviously just zombies, or if we are being very forgiving; a sub genre of zombies
