vip demo not working even tho i registered successfully through an invite link
i had access thanks to the old alpha technical and sent 3 invites to my friends: tried to login, and the game says i don't have access while the anthem site says otherwise!
Had the same, support said: Since i didnt pre-order the game they cant / wont help me.

but my friends that i DID invite, can play! and i can't do anything, because the system believes i'm entitled to play.

I'm playing on Ultra with HBAO on full, in Town it never drops but when its a heavy fight with multiple enemies it drops for a few seconds. Kinda annoying.

Yeah, has the same mediocre visuals of characters, same sluggish movement and weapon mechanics are the same mediocre trash.
A lot of these bullet sponge MP shooters have kind of the same feeling. Don't get why they are all so eager to make the same mediocre games. Yeah yeah I know they are fun with friends, but even watching paint dry with friends can be that.
To me it feels like its trying to be like Warframe. It even has that wierd middle eastern town with techno suit vibe.
Dunno.
I'm not feeling it. i can't see why i would play this over Warframe.
And it definitely has a Destiny feel to it as well.

Tried it on PS4 and PC. Performance is not good on both platforms. It's buggy, infinite load screens all over, enemies disappearing etc. The interface is terrible on both console and the PC. It's just too confusing, too much clicking around, it's also rather slow.

I admit that on PC when cooping with 3 buddies, the server sync is atrocious but when free roaming alone in the map my performance is top notch most of the time.
1440P all maxed out. Between 65 & 130 fps ? Mostly in the 90's...
You are gonna say well yeah look at you'r specs and all. Off course it helps but saying performance is not good is more relevant to the hardware more I think at this stage of the game..Alpha, I'm sure they'll improve performance towards the release and probably after not counting on drivers.
I'm positive it will play just fine as long as the net code and synchronization is better/fixed. But that's just my opinion.

I'm having a simliar rig and I can say that it drops below 60 a few times, especially when theres a lot happening and everyone is using their ults etc. Playing on ultra @ 1080p.
Considering that BF5 now runs with 100+ fps even with RTX on ultra its pretty stupid that they didnt optimize that game yet.
Could you not perpetuate publisher PR bullshit? The game is out in 4 weeks. It's not a fucking alpha. The game has gone gold and is in manufacturing for console physical versions. You are playing the release code. No doubt there will be multiple gigs of patches to download by the time the official release day rolls around, but this fucking "alpha" shit for games in their more or less finalised stages has to stop.

The performance will definitely get improved upon in the coming weeks, but what's far more important to get from the demo is if the game is fun to play, has tight gameplay loops, neat movement or generally nice systems in place to keep you playing. And from the preview-videos it looked like a boring snoozefest.
Playing Warframe for the past 6 months has really burnt me on other games, the movement and weapons are so tight and refined there, other games just don't bring joy anymore
