OS: CachyOS because fuck Windows!

Seems it runs a bit better, less stuttering (Because: GTX970). The balance of workers/production still needs some work, though I doubt that will get some tuning since people said it in alpha and now in beta again. It's not that it is bad, it just could be better.
Don't feel like putting more time into it though. Have a few beta's+ games going on and it feels a bit much atm. Seeing I spend a few dozen hours in the alpha, this one gets the chop. I'll probably get it at discount since I have no time to play it soon anyway. Well... depending what Ubi does. Epic exclusive would mean Isodemo exclusive for me.

yeah, I am not very convinced. The only thing that really changes, is the year, but other than that, it's just the same core Anno experience. But so far, I haven't seen anything, that makes it stand out over all the others.

They have problems with mails not arriving. Go to: https://betasignup.ubisoft.com/anno1800cb/FriendList/
It should say if registration is succesful. You'll be able to download the beta shortly after. They also have problems with registering that directly so might take a log out and in again or half an hour of wait. |

Its pretty much anno 1404 with a face lift. Beta seems limited to only upgrading to artisans and the other two tiers are blocked so its hard to say how much more advanced it gets.

Played it yesterday morning in sp and the night till early morning with a friend in mp and we had some fun.
Definetly gonna buy it since it feels great and performance is good so far except the constant desyncs we got after we reached artisans.
Good thing is the game made a quicklsave and you could try to resync which worked after a couple of tries till after some time the next desync came.
But still decent game i think.

If anyone still needs an Ubinvite I have three available as well. Sadly I don't have the time to tinker with betas/alphas/pre-gammas/early-omegacceses these days so I'll just wait for the finished (well, "finished") version and happily roll with the iso. Hopefully it won't resemble the crippled 2205 zombie experiment

Those of you who can't start game after update, make sure from ubi launcher you select "verify files" as the update might of corrupted something.

Played maybe for an hour. Looks awesome, but as mentioned multiple times, way to easy, there is not management of supply - so far all buildings have 1:1 time ratio for related resources. Does anyone monitor the forums for the game? Is it only in the beta and they will fix the ratios for the full game?
